Bloody atrocious – First off she gets the runs, she likes the beef followed by chicken but never finished the tuna one ! Btw it looks horrible in that jelly crap and yeah the by products are disgusting to read and the whole thing doesn't look real enough. I only bought it because i thought whiskas has a good rep. Never buying it again, I think someone should start a campaign to name and shame them, hopefully shut them down.

Gave our poor cat the runs – We adopted a cat from animal rescue and as soon as we arrived home that evening we fed her whiskas chicken and jelly. She ate it up in no time so we thought what a good choice because we were worried she might not eat it because it was different to the food she had at the shelter. The following morning the smell in her litter box was terrible and… Read more

noticed she had the runs. Thinking she was sick I called the shelter and the first thing they asked me was what we fed her and when I told them they said that is the problem and recommended feeding her Royal Canin cat food. We did that and the smelly runs stopped. It appears Whiskas cat food is cheap junk food for cats.

Horrible horrible – Have my kitten the runs. At first I thought it was just her but after speaking to my vet found out that whiskas is basically like feeding your cat kfc everyday. Switched over to Hills science food and she’s been much happier. Don’t waste you money or your kittens health.  Show details

Awful and a waste of Money – Brought this for my 6 month old, thinking it would be a nice change to brands like Dine and Fancy Feast, but it's been a horrid experience. The first time he literally inhaled the whole pouch-worth in 30 seconds, then 30 mins later threw the entire contents of his stomach up on the bathroom floor. At the time he was in play mode, jumping around… Read more

everywhere and I thought it was due to eating soap or something else, such as rapid eating. The next time I gave him half and half, spaced out to see if it was okay - And it seemed okay. 3rd time he had awful runny poo, covering the floor and himself, so for me this is product is now off the menu, and should be taken off shelves for the sake of kittens the world over! I don't know what they're putting in it - But it is criminal to sell a food that a lot of kittens will have major issues with. To all cat-lovers, please don't feed this poison to your furry loved ones.

Horrible kitten food! – I purchased a box of the pouches for my 3 month old kitten. Hours after eating a pouch my poor kitten had the most foul smelling reoccurring diarrhoea and vomited 3 times in just one day. Never purchasing any products from Whiskas again!  Show details

Terrible product – We alternate different foods and brands for our kitten so she (and us) is not stuck with just one specific brand. We included Whiskas Kitten Pouches but every time she eats it the poor kitten has diarrhea straight away and terribly smelly farts. Never again! Show details

Unfortunately have to agree with all the other reviews – Without doing our research we just assumed a reputable company such as whiskas would be fine to feed our kitten however we couldnt be more wrong. After about 2 pouches she has been diarrhoea-ing terribly with awful vomit like sounds. We were woken up at 5am in the morning with her runny poop all over our bed. Not good, this stuff is terrible.… Read more

don't feed it to your baby kitten. After feeding her Royal Canine instead she seems to be completely fine, way worth it to pay a little extra for something that wont make your pet sick.

Sick Kitten – My kitten has tried the kitten pouches twice and after 30 minutes she was howling in pain and vomited a few times. It was so frightening to see, I would not recommend it ever! Better off with the dry Iams kitten food, and treats of boiled chicken or Tuna in spring water! Show details

Farting, lethargic, diarrhea, sick looking – 6 weeks my poor kitten was having this rotten food, every poop was continuous farting followed by a puddle of horrid smelling diarrhea, he was lethargic an overall sick looking. We thought he had worms, then we thought he had ate something he shouldn't have or he had a blockage all to find out it was this food Whiskers Mince pouches. Never again… Read more

Do Not Give This To Kittens! – I purchased these pouches for the first time for my kittens because my supermarket was out of stock of Fancy Feast Kitten cans. Within 30 minutes, both kittens got chronic, liquid diarrhea and were howling in pain. They flagged and were barely responsive! I rushed them to the vet. Both kittens were hospitalised and put on a drip to rehydrate them with medication administered. This product is NOT suitable for kittens and could kill them! Show details

diarrhea, farting a huge stinken mess – You'd think that kitten food made for kitten would actually be healthy and safe to consume for a kitten, especially for a brand as well known as Whiskas. But this is the most horrible pet food experience I've ever had, my kitten was extremely uncomfortable and not acting like herself. This food caused her to fart and poo explosive, disgusting, foul-smelling Diarrhea. Absolutely horrible what a waste of money. Show details

Made my kitten sick for days! – Bought some of these and the same dry food as they were one of the few kitten foods at coles. Fed it to my kitten and he went behind the computer and slept for hours. Next day he had terrible smelling diarrhea! Tried also weening him onto the whiskas dry food and he vomited. Never buying from this company again, I don’t even want to give my unused food to the pound!

complete 100% pure RUBBISH – We had been using whiskas kitten loaf pouches for 7 years with no complaint. This new mince pouches are rubbish, the kittens refuse to eat them whatsoever. As breeders and a pet resort owner we spend over $50,000 on cat food per year, this money now goes to felix cat food company. Get back to reality whiskas and research what cat/pet owners need.Bring back the loaf pouches for kittens.

Now no more loafs – whiskas is our best cat food to give to my nine-month-old kitten, as he loves it and has never had a problem with it. but we always bought the loaf version because it's easier to dispense out of the bag. my mum doesn't understand why the company thinks its a good idea to replace the loaf with gravy. the gravy version is messy and is harder to clean as it dries up in the bowl. please bring back the loaves!!!!!

Not good – Trying to wean my kitten onto solids and i gave him this. The poor baby was sleeping lots after i gave it to him and not playful. A few hours later, he threw all of it up and instantly felt better.

Gives my kitty projectile diarrhoea – Whiskas gave my poor kitten diarrhoea (even projectile diarrhoea, especially with the beef flavours). The food is far too runny. I changed to Felix and haven't had any issues! Back to small solidified poops!

Rotten, rotten, rotten! – Normally I buy the Felix kitten sachets but Whiskas was on sale one week so I thought I would give it a go. Oh my god. My cute little kittens smelt rotten - rotten poop, rotten farts! I will never subject myself or the kittens to this again!

Packaged cat vomit – Our kitten coughed the "tender chicken" variety up 10 minutes after eating it. It looked the same coming out of my cat as it did fresh out of the packaging. He could keep the beef flavour down but a few hours later kitty started to smell like a month old corpse on the floor of a public toilet. And then the cat litter the next morning... Just don't.

Not good – I recently bought a variety box of these pouches for a stray kitten that appeared at our house. Initially the cat was so hungry it would eat everything I gave it - until I tried her on these. Firstly the smell was so awful that even I nearly gagged when opening it. Secondly it was basically just a paste that had no texture to it at all. The cat… Read more

actually looked at me with a disappointed face when given it to eat. I have other cats who have never eaten any of the Whiskas range, which I always thought was because they were just too fussy. I now question if it actually provides adequate nutrition for them. I'm now sticking to other brands and fresh meats/fish which are much more happily received by all the cats.

Not for our kitten! – We were trialing different wet foods to accompany our kittens dry kibble. Although she ate the beef pouches, she put her nose up at all of the chicken dishes and would not go near them. We have since found another healthier wet food that our kitten likes and devours every morning. I should also point out that our kittens stools were very smelly &… Read more

runny after eating this product, we now find they do not smell nearly as bad with her change in diet. Our Veterinarian pointed out that diarrhea is a consequence of the kittens body not agreeing with the food, I would really not recommend this product even though its a cheaper option. My thoughts are pay a little more for good quality food, and you will have a happier healthier cat with fewer health problems, both now and in the future. Bulk pack of 12, cheap Smelly stools, kitten didnt like the taste, not a healthy option!
