Doesn't cut it as a work vacuum. The cord is miles too short, the pipe does not match other generic attatchments, and the latches catch and open easily, spilling stuff everywhere. Loved my old work hero, the new one is a poor cousin. Good for the garage maybe? Turns out no. Filter ripped first clean. Not fit for purpose as a cleaner.

Had my first Work Hero Cd2 a little over 12 months. I had been using it at work at our commercial cleaning jobs, and it appeared to work pretty well on hard surfaces until it shorted out on the cord and "burnt out." I purchased a 2nd one which I've only had since late November last year and over half the cord has twisted and the cleaner itself gets extremely hot, even on carpeted surfaces. I contacted the retailer who more or less implied that it was not a manufacturing fault but the "end user," and would not be covered under warranty which is only 6 months anyway. That's pretty poor considering it's described as a "commercial cleaner." I would be very reluctant to recommend this to anyone who does commercial cleaning given my experience/s using it. As the cost of having the cord replaced is around the $100 mark which is about 50% of the retail price I have opted to replace with a PacVac which offers a 2 year warranty, is at a similar price point and has 5 star reviews.

Purchased in for $229.

Constantly overheats and won't work! – I bought this thing to vacuum my sheds: it has an overheat cut-out mechanism where it stops if the motor gets hot. The trouble is that it overheats and stops after a few minutes, and then I have to wait at least a half hour before I can use it again... and then it soon stops again!!! Most of the time it's unusable! Do not buy this worthless pile of junk; it's a waste of money. Mine is on its way to the tip.

Purchased in for $180.

Too many flaws – This vacuum is 50/50 for me Pros.. good suction, lightweight, easy to clean Cons.. the cord is very poor quality and it gets caught up on everything and gets kinks etc in it. Plus there’s nowhere really to store the cord unless you wrap it around but I do a lot of cleaning and don’t want to waste time winding/unwinding. The wheels underneath are terrible, it constantly tips over or runs over the cord and drags it along. Lastly mine just blew up. I turned it on and sparks came out from where the cord comes from. Not surprisingly they only have a 6 month warranty and I bought it early this year so no go now. I don’t think I’d recommend it unless the price was a lot cheaper. It’s too expensive for the hassle and quality

Purchased in at Godfreys Physical Stores for $1,790.
