Would be an award winning mower if it's sole job was to get stuck in random places and dig holes for itself. Unfortunately, it's meant to be a mower and it sucks at being that. Needs to be babysat more than a new born baby. If you leave it on its own, it's utter chaos! It bumps into an object, moves back half a cm then tries to ram the object that… Read more

it had got stuck on and ends up tearing up grass and digging holes. If only it had a forward looking sensor. Oh wait, it does! Unfortunately this system (called "ACS") is more useless than the mower. It fails to see anything in front of it and will drive straight up onto your foot if you let it. It's marketed as being able to see and dodge children and animals! Stevie Wonder sees better than this nearly $300 add on. Overall a very disappointing experience with this thing

It's better than mowing the lawn but – Make sure there's no dog poo on the lawn, what a disaster! It has errors saying the wire is missing sometimes - the wire isn't missing. Digs holes sometimes it doesn't detect objects. Overall, it can't be left alone. I've attached an example picture of a hole it dug. Show details

Very Frustrating – The purchased the Landroid to ease my work and to manage my small lawn. It worked perfectly for two days and now it says the Wire is missing. I checked with them and they sent me a video and have been spending a lot of time figuring out the problem. It is so frustrating and taking a lot of time to work on the error. Show details

When it works, it's great – I have the WR149E and when it works, it's great! It's the setup and maintenance that is frustrating as hell. The robot requires you to place a boundary wire around the property, regardless of any fencing that would prevent it going places anyway. This boundary wire is pinned flat onto the grass by provided pegs. The ends of the wire also need to… Read more

be stripped and inserted into the docking station. The circuit has to be complete and the stripped ends sitting properly in the connection for the robot to even start. The paperwork that comes with the robot doesn't exactly explain this very well and I had to look up a youtube video. Since this isn't exactly my area of expertise, I didn't have the tools necessary to do it properly and it took me literal hours to get the robot to even start, after already having spent an hour laying the boundary wire.

When the robot does run, it runs OVER the boundary wire. I understand why it was done that way, but it puts the wire at risk of being cut by the robot. I painstakingly made sure the wire was as flat and taut everywhere as possible. It was fine for a while, but in time the wheels of the robot pulled at the wire and the grass/dirt around it. This made it loose enough that it ended up cutting the wire due to some uneven ground. I fixed this problem fairly easily with the parts that came with the robot. Mostly because by that point I had bought a wire stripper, and I had made and pinned loops of spare wire like recommended by the video (but NOT the documentation), so I could cut and reconnect the ends easily. But now I'm paranoid about when it will inevitably do it again, and I will need more parts than they've provided.

Really I wouldn't recommend this at all if you don't have solid grass that has a good root system, or if you have a lot of uneven ground. The wheels of the robot are not kind to the grass when it needs to make a turn, which I think contributes to the boundary wire being pulled up. It has still saved me a lot of time and energy, but I wish it would just bounce about the place against my fencing with some minimal electronic boundaries installed, and maybe a map where I could install digital blocks like the modern roombas.

It needs a lot of improvement – Would I recommend this absolutely no I did my research before I bought it I wanted to find out where it came from I spoke to the guys on phone several times from Brisbane Queensland before I purchased it their words do not match up with what they said I can do 1 rain sensor keep on working in the rain keep on getting bogged and leaving hard black… Read more

marks from the wheels in the mud it has been save me money out of has been working hard for maybe 3 years read it really doesn't get improvement but now we have so many more options they can work in the rain and you can hose on down this one you can't especially here in Cairns where I'm from so it's quite useless for me would I buy one again now don't recommend it

Buy something else – So, I decided to give it a fair go of a month before I wrote a review. Don't buy this. It just doesn't work properly. Cuts its own perimeter wire, constantly gets stuck. I mean constantly. If it mowed twice a day I'm out there at least 5 to 7 times to fix it. I got this as a present and although the gesture was amazing and so was the idea this… Read more

device just doesn't do what it's meant to do. There is one good thing I will admit. It does seem very robust. We have very heavy rain and it doesn't miss a beat in that regard.

Garbage – Has never been able to connect to Wifi despite extensive troubleshooting including using various routers and setting them to 2.4GHz. Never finishes a mowing session because it stops on a out of bounds error every time. I have to walk to the corner of my lawn to retrieve it every day. Show details

Life saver for me – The robot mower is a life saver for me with my 1000sqm Sir Walter lawn. I love to not having to mow manually in the hot and steamy Brisbane climate. I couldn't live without the robot mower anymore. However, I have to say it needs quite a bit of looking after. Basically the default wheels lose traction after about a year and you need to buy… Read more

upgraded wheels or spike rings that can be screwed on. Even then the mower will sometimes drive over the wire and needs to be manually restarted.

I bought my mower from Robot Lawn Mowers Australia in Brisbane, Underwood. They provided me with a 3 year warranty and excellent service. Recommended!

Poor back up service and full of false claims of performance – We have had this mower for nearly 2 years. Claim - it can climb small inclines - it can't and due to poor traction on the back wheels will continually slip and dig holes in your lawn. Unless is perfectly flat forget buying it. Claim - You can place the boundary wire on the lawn and peg it down. - forget this, if the mower gets stuck in any way… Read more

if chews through the wire. You need to dig it down in some way. Back up service etc - What a laugh. Our mower has been stuck in an E1 error code (boundary wire missing) for 2 weeks and I am still waiting on service. Advised it needs to be returned at their cost by still waiting on the courier to be organised.

Go buy another brand as this one is a JOKE!!!!

Worst bit of rubbish I’ve bought for $1500 don’t waste $ – I got this due to a disability making regular mowing difficult. It was a nightmare to set up the guide wire and try to connect it to the nbn but after 2 weeks of trouble shooting I got there. I had to reconfigure the telstra modem and reset the machine several times just to connect it. Now it “mows” the grass but hardly cuts any of it leaving… Read more

long strands everywhere. I get multiple errors in the app daily saying the Landroid is upside down when it’s not upside down… or even on a slope at all…the grass is mostly smooth, flat and was mowed before the Landroid was on it as per instructions. When the upside down error occurs the machine stops and has to be reset multiple times.

I get regular errors in the app saying it’s not connected to wifi when it is connected and the machine shows it has signal, it’s right next to the house modem mowing a tiny patch of grass. When the No wifi error occurs the machine stops and has to be reset.

Now it’s saying no guide wire but of course there is. When the guide wire error occurs the machine stops & just won’t work at all.

I’m at my wits end with this $1500 bit of junk, avoid avoid avoid. I have multiple smart devices that all actually work and this is a huge disappointment. I would not recommend anyone to have this headache in their life and I wish I’d never even been tempted to buy it. If I could give zero stars I would.

Ok when it works – The robot just randomly goes across the lawn which is very inefficient, not sure why it doesn't use a technology similar to house cleaning robots. The perimeter wire will get cut constantly, it is a pain to keep it completely buried so the mower itself doesn't lift it and cut when trying to get to the edge. Edge cutting doesn't work properly as… Read more

your lawn would need to be 100% flush with the pavers on the side, otherwise the mower won't have traction to go up any small almost imperceptible height difference. I'm swapping the mowing with constant maintenance of the robot, I hope one day it works.. if you haven't spent the mony yet, wait until better tech is available, those problems are likely similar in other models/brands.

Great Machine easy to set up – I suffer from bad asthma when mowing the lawn, but with this machine very happy in results and how easy it was to set up. The team at Robot Lawn Mowers in Qld, were terrific and very helpful. Recomend this product for price and ease of use. Show details

Don't buy Worx mowers! – Don't buy Worx mowers! It’s the worst device I’ve ever bought. It broke down before the warranty period expired, and the company only procrastinated without intending to fix the problem. Their service company LetMeRepair GmbH returned my mower back in much worse condition than before. Total disaster. I spent many months in conversation without success. Show details

Time saver - Lawn always looks great – After doing all the research and watching countless videos I decided to move forward with the Landroid. After setting it all up and connecting it to the APP which is awesome, allowing you to choose your grass species and soil type and determine my lawn area. I was amazed that it just works. Lawn always looks mowed. I have the mower set to mow… Read more

during the week and noticed that from time to time it will mow over the weekend as well! I could understand why it was doing this until I discovered that because it didnt mow during the week due to wet weather it made up the time on the weekend, I was so impressed. It also auto updates software, also discovered this accidently. So all in all, I am happy, I'd recommend.

Sensor broken and no support or warranty – Lawnmower broke after a few months. Was supposed to have a 12 month warranty. Tried 5 times to get support and they would simply not respond. I tried emails, cases, Facebook. They said they would follow up and never did. I'm so dissappointed.  Show details

Recommend worx – I bought this for my partner for Christmas, he loves it. Does what it says. Only new , no problems as yet. Simple to set up. Now we are after the gps unit for it, as our yard isn’t fully fenced, worry it may get stolen. Also purchased the garage for it, which was simple to set up. I think he looks cute with his collision eyes :-) We would recommend this product.  Show details

Ok but much improvement in making it "smart" – So if you have a flat lawn with no trees near the boundary or shaded areas it'll likely work well. But it gets stuck way to often in my back yard. From digging holes when up against a tree because it takes a while to realise (even with the acs option), plus it keeps getting stuck trying to turn at the boundary with a tree next to it and it keeps… Read more

digging for a while to either rip up grass or get stuck.. This thing really should be smarter at this price tag and in 2020. Not a match on decent robot.vaccums for its intelligence .

Hopefully they'll at least make it determine when it is stuck sooner, let us choose the sensitivity of getting stuck or improve its algorithms to make it just that little bit more "smart".

Oh and if you want it to pass down a narrow corridor, be careful as their term corridor doesn't mean the distance between each/wall as that needs to be far greater than their 60cm I was lead to believe.

It cuts well when it isn't getting stuck. Although not overly efficient as I knew before I bought it however.
