Xiaomi Mi 9 (2019)

You get what you pay – It has showed to be lasting a third of the time than a flagship. Slowed down incredibly after 1 year of use. I am now using it with no animations and it still is a pain to watch lagging. Worth the price ? hmm. Short term, yes. Long term, no.
Purchased for $550.
Xiaomi mobile phone - bad quality, poor service, only lasted 15 months before black screen – I bought this MI phone at AUD 592. I've only used it for 15 months, then out of no where the screen black out. I tried to contact Xiaomi, they don't provide support, nor repair. All local repairers don't have parts. They offer to buy parts and change the screen for $250, repair time 2 weeks, which doesn't worth a try due to the risk involved, as all photos, contacts, banking apps are in the mobile phone that I was unable to back-up due to the black screen suddenly happened without any warning sign. It's very frustrating not only in money terms, but also all the data in the phone that will be lost. This is my 2nd Xiaomi mobile phone, and the previous one is a Xiaome Redmi Note 3, which didn't last long either. I strongly suggest DO NOT buy this brand, due to its poor quality and poor service. They have a service line that you could hardly be able to connect to.

Fantastic phone – Bought this phone overseas when My Samsung failed. At only $500 , compared to the more than double price of the Samsung I wasn’t sure if the Xiaomi phone was going to be any good. I was pleasantly surprised. The phone does everything my old phone did and more. Battery life it good, And I love how it has face recognition as well as fingerprint and pattern. It takes good photos and has different filter options. Really good phone for the price.

Great looking phone, and fantastic battery life – I have had mine for about 6 months now and no issues. Only paid about $500 for 128gb of storage. Camera is fine, and battery life is fantastic. Would only buy Xiaomi from now on.

Excellent phone but poor OS – This phone is incredibly fast, and can be gotten for a decent price. Upon first inspection, the only issue I thought might be present was related to the OS and the battery life. The battery life, is, however, much better than expected, and is clearly optimised. The OS, however, does have some issues, such as displaying ads.
