Actually works great – I have a heap of Xiaomi devices and so far not one of them has let me down (save for a phone I accidentally drowned). I got this one after the recent flooding in the Hunter Region and there was a musty smell in the place. Just set it up and painlessly connected to my home network and phone. It does not have an onboard PM2.5 display so to see that you need to use the app but who cares if it cleans the air? I tested the response time by lighting a mozzie coil and within 3 or 4 seconds it went from a whisper quiet breeze to a miniature Pratt and Whitney F35 turbine. In less than a minute the PM2.5 level had dropped from over 100 to less than 25 and the 2H again sat serenely on its table. Sometimes here on the coast in the Hunter Valley we get strong westerly winds that blow the fine coal dust to us (also bushfires are an issue) but I am hopeful that I have a new weapon against these. If the filter last 6 months I will be happy. Another ripper from Xiaomi.

Wifi device first air purifier second – When the device actually works it was quiet and it did work well. But when it didn’t have Wi-Fi signal it would switch itself off it would be a pain to turn it on all the time. It is definitely a Chinese made Wi-Fi device first with an app that requires too much information about your network and every now and then decides to work as an air purifier. Would also not work when the filter was apparently full even though there was barely any dust on the outside of it. Device is now completely dead four days after warranty.

Eh – Wouldn't waste my money at all, I personally feel that it does not even clean the air and find it blows dust BACK INTO THE AIR!! Got my money back which was good, but the product isn't really built for Australia.

Purchased in at Kogan.com for $150.
