Functionality issues – Recently I tried to download an app and received a message stating "your administrator has not given you permission to access this item". But it's my phone which I purchased brand new, I am the administrator! Eventually I solved the problem by doing a factory reset. I'm really ticked off at having my time wasted by a seemingly needless access… Read more

issue. Technology is supposed to make our lives easier and I don't see the need for pointless, time wasting obstacles such as this. Apart from that, the battery life is very good, it has a good camera it's a good phone, and everything else works.

Update July 2024. I'm downgrading this review because I've been to two foreign countries and this phone does not allow internet data use with the foreign SIM card. (The phone does work with WiFi).Why is there a need to block internet data use in foreign countries? This is the second time I've had my time wasted with needless software issues on this phone and I never encountered that with previous brands. I'm extremely annoyed about this because it has wasted a lot of time and money. I don't see the need for usage barriers such as this. Will never purchase a Xiaomi again, I'll go back to my old android brand because I just don't have time for silly functionality issues.

It's a fantastic MP3 player with lots of extra capabilities – I have had this phone for less than a year, and it has failed already in a lot of areas so badly that I had to buy another mobile. Cameras: don't be fooled by the impressive numbers. The quality of the photos and video is very basic. Display: good, didn't have issues. Internet: unreliable. Often, I had to reboot the phone when leaving home… Read more

because it couldn't switch from WiFi to the provider's data. GPS stops working after 1.5 hours, and to reactivate it, you need to reboot the phone, which takes 4-5 minutes. It is not a very convenient feature if you drive on a freeway with a speed of 110 k/hr and expect to exit soon. It doesn't have NFC - an important feature for those who like to tap the mobile for cardless payments. For those who are still curious if this phone has anything good: Yes! This phone has a very good user-friendly interface with heaps of wallpapers, fonts, sounds etc. The sound is impressive, and this phone has 3.5 input - a very good feature for those who don't want to grill their brains via wireless pods. The battery is truly amazing: 2 days without charge for a heavy user, and you can refill it via a fast charger for 15 minutes to serve you for the rest of the day.

Let's summarize all the above: for $300, you can get a fantastic MP3 player with lots of extra capabilities.
