Purchased 2 years ago. 2 months ago fridge side would stay frozen no matter what temp was set. Now the unit is on constantly even though Eco mode is selected draining the battery. Unit cleaned and thermistors checked. Unit is U/S. Unit life is very short. Show details
Absolute junk. 1 got replaced under warranty within 30hrs of use and now the 2nd one after around 10 days of use has broken. One side is temrimental and the other will sit between minus 15 to minus 30⁰. Bought from supercheam auto. Show details

Do not buy! – I Purchased this fridge in 2021 and it didn't even last 2 and a half years. You can hear it running but it will not cool at all, resulting in spoiled food! Need advice – Had my 75 litre for a few years. Hardly been used, but now I have plugged it in and get an error when the compressor is trying to kick in. The compressor tries to kick in 3 times and fails to. Complete unit won't work. Any advice or tips would be much appreciated. Show reply
Used twice only – I brought this for a weekend camp trip and worked okay on 12v freezer side was not the best. I need to use it for a couple of days in house on 240v in winter and it struggled would not stay on 4 degrees kept going up an down in temp from 3-8 degrees. trips, but illness in the family has prevented this and I would not trust this product to do its job if it struggles so bad in Tasmania. It’s been well stored and cared for it’s just crap and out of warranty.

Manufactured/Imported By EvaKool – Hopeless service from EvaKool who manufactured or imported this piece of garbage. Only one service agent in all of Perth booked out months in advance run off their feet trying to fix their crappy fridges. The only thing crappier than their fridges is the service at Head Office from Cassandra & to a lesser extent Louise (who at least made a… Read more
half-hearted attempt to help). Don't expect to finish a sentence when speaking with Cassandra because she'll constantly interrupt before you get the chance. You will have more chance of doing so with Louise but only marginally. The interruptions are so frequent you eventually find yourself doing likewise in an effort to get your point across. XTM fridge manufactured in 2018. Failed 3 years later. Sent back to Head Office in 2021 because the sole authorised service agent in Perth was unable to repair this piece of crap. New compressor module installed and new 240V board installed in order to get it to run again. Less than two years later the fridge has failed again probably requiring another $350 compressor module to fix plus labour. Steer clear.

Disappointing – Worked fine for two years - 2 months out of warranty and freezer won’t hold temp and everything is exploding. Would expect a product worth $800 to last a lot longer than two years. Wil not be purchasing this brand again. Show details

Disappointing – Was a great fridge until the warranty period was over. Spoke to the store where I purchased from and was told out of warranty so no help there. I understand that is a cheaper fridge than some of the others. I don’t see how they can sell such an inferior product. These fridges should last for at least ten years not 2. Waste of money – Had the dual zone 75l for 2 and a half years. Worked well for the first 2 years, only using it for camping trips. Went to use it 1 month out of warranty and freezer stopped getting cold. BCF didn’t want to help and neither did XTM company as it was just out of warranty. I’m a single parent so affording another one is not possible right now so I guess no camping trips for us. Show details

No longer working – Was working fine on 240V and 12V for 2 years. I turned off the 240V and stored it for three months when re-connected the 240V Orange lights as normal then green lights I can hear the compressor start as normal and this is the last thing it does correctly! IT's JUST not cold at all after leaving it on for a long time. Show details

Excellent and Reliable Unit – Purchased our XTM 75Lt dual zone fridge/freezer (Made by Evakool) from BCF about 3 months ago and have used it on a regular basis since then on both 12V and 240V in some pretty hot conditions in the back of our Ford Ranger. level. Construction of this unit is solid the tie down handles are also very solid latches to keep lids closed are set perfect along with the seals to keep heat out. Over all a very good unit at a very reasonable price. Doesn't have in built Bluetooth for mobile monitoring but not interested in gimmicks. Only disappointing thing no cover is made for the 75Lt XTM at least what I was told at the store when requested one.
