Dangerous Chinese Garbage – Used maybe 2-3 times over 4-5 years for minor at-home tasks. Seriously, it's drilled about five holes in thin materials/plaster during it's 'life'. Today the trigger popped out and the drill continued to run on it's own while the running bit was still in a project. Disconnected from power and straight into the hard refuse/e-cycling What a waste of resources as well as being potentially dangerous for use, or is that the plan?  Show details

Great all-rounder for the home handyman – This drill costs $30. I'm not a tradesman so I don't use it for hours at a time, every day. I bought it as a versatile drill for my home repairs & projects around 6 years ago. It's the one I use the most because it has more grunt & speed than my 14.4v cordless and doesn't involve the workout that comes with using my "proper" hammer drill. Last… Read more

week I found its limit when I tried to drill a piece of ironbark using a tapered-cone instead of a spade bit. It stopped turning before I set the wood on fire thru friction. It's a good drill for most jobs, has no trouble drilling masonry. Well worth the money.

Surprisingly good for the price – I got this drill 7 years ago when it was $19, Ive renovated my house and 2 businesses with it, expecting it to fail after the first reno it just kept on going. It finally burnt out a few weeks ago but I have to say I hammered that little unit. I just bought myself another one to replace. Show details

The drill was smoking after the second bolt – I bought the new drill today for a minor task. The drill did not have enough power to fully tighten the bolts, it reached 75to 80 percent depth. I had to manually screw the rest. I was Tech screwing the legs onto a sofa base. After the second screw the drill was smoking alot. I continued despite the puffs of smoke increasing and cutting out. I… Read more

managed to get the 16 bolts in. Would i recommend this product to anyone? No. This will be going back to place of purchase.

Great drill for everyday use – Let me be honest, for the price I paid I was not expecting much when I bought this drill as it was for a DIY project. Once I unboxed and had a look at the actual product I was very surprised of the quality and the finish of the drill. First of all it's a 500W motor with a variable speed adjuster dial. The Chuck is 13MM which is ideal for various… Read more

size bits. Does the job very nicely. Best of all its a hammer drill! Great value for money. Will definitely recommend.
