OK subwoofer but this sub is not 270 watts rms.
I had this sub for a while and I must say it was OK, however I noticed that it had the tendency to bottom out and when I looked at the manual I was in for a little surprise because the power rating was 270 watts at 10% at 100hz harmonic distortion which is basically the actual power is less than 130 watts rms. It's a bit of a shame really that Yamaha doesn't properly rate the power of their subwoofers. It's definitely not value for money.
This sub really kicks ! It has tight bass and everything works very well even after many years of use
The sounds is very natural and you do really get that cinema experience
Turned up it will really bring the low frequencies out with heaps of grunt to spare
Highly recommended !
everything especially controls on the front for volume etc.
