Bought brand new. Absolute crap. Low usage and had one oil change. Got slower and slower, started to blow smoke. Checked oil, was metallic. Just over a year old. Threw out on verge for someone to take for free. Very disappointed, had second hand lawnmowers that have lasted much longer. Show details
After four years of use, with wobbly wheels,no oil change, the fuel line split, cost me in a dry tank ,effort to start also!!! Now the wobbly wheels, soft plastic wheels, maybe I ran it faster than the designated design.brilliante cheap mower with good and bad !!¡! Show details
Dud mower – Purchased a 4 stroke yardfomower very recently and have to say it is the worst mower that I have ever owned. Height adjustment is configured completely wrong, it's either cutting grass too low or too high, and the low setting of the engine rev doesn't allow it to cut through grass easily. It wants to stall every time, just trying to cut through… Read more
average height grass. The safety aspects of it are useless. $600 worst spent money I would recommend not to purchase and buy from a local mower dealer something that actually does the job properly. They have the looks but definitely not the functionality.
Not happy – I got a lawnmower the wheels are coming off and got a straight shaft whipper snipper that doesn't work and then the wife got a bent Shaft whipper snipper and the whole head came off.
A Great Lawn Mower for the Price – Update from my review on 10th April 2023. The mower is still going great, doing more than we expected. The wheels have NOT fallen off, and yes, I did have to replace the fuel line, but overall, we have got more out of it than we paid for it. A fantastic product for the price.
Horrible – Absolute Rubbish! Do not buy YardForce products. I bought a lawnmower in less than a year the fuel line split in several places and fuel was leaking out. I phoned the service centre and got some cocky young fella who told me I would have to buy another hose from them, I said but it’s under warranty he said no it’s a perishable item and they won’t… Read more
replace it under warranty. I said mate a fuel line should last longer than 10 months, he just scoffed at me. I said the little rubber hoses on other machines last for 5 or ten years he just arrogantly told me he wasn’t going to replace it under warranty. Don’t deal with these people buy a different brand or you will regret it.
Rubbish – Only good for scrap or giving it to someone you don't like the throttle cord attachment broke no spares, yet Mitre 10 still sells this rubbish says a lot- with all the negative reviews Show details
Yard Force Mower Lawn Pro 18-inch 170cc – this is a badly made lawn mower. not made for Australian condiations 90% plastic only 2 months old and the pull start got jamed. not worth the money. you add oil to the required level check the dipstick and it shows it been dry. smokes alot on start up rough when idling. rang mitre 10 was given the name of the warrtany repairers contacted them and… Read more
was told they no longer do the warranty work . in the end the store manager at mitre 10 was very helpful he ended up getting it sent away for repairs. still waiting for it to be done though. my mower is the GM-R46-AU Model .
Worst mower I’ve ever seen – Terrible mower. The inner skirt was so low it is below the wheels and I had to cut 3/4 of an inch off it because it was digging in to the ground and couldn’t be pushed. And that’s with the height set to the fourth level . The engine periodically smokes like mad. It has to be choked to start even when hot. The oil filler cap blows off so oil sprays… Read more
everywhere and yesterday a bloody wheel fell off during use. The handles kept coming loose until I fitted extra locking washers. I bought it second hand but in as new condition with not a mark on it. It had only been used twice. No wonder the original purchaser got rid of it. Biggest hunk of junk it ever been my misfortune to own.
I have to pay money out of my pocket to get a warranty problem diagnose before they MIGHT accept the warranty. And i mig – I have to pay money out of my pocket to get the warranty problem diagnose before they might accept the warranty claim. I might not get my money back if yard force end up saying its not a warranty problem. So i am still stuck with a faulty mower......So in the end i end up with a faulty mower, But i could end up with a faulty mower plus a… Read more
diagnostic charge if they say its not a warranty problem. So in the end i stuck with the faulty mower to save money Which i might not get back, Plus the stress and the extra anxiety Grrrrrrrrr
Poor quality – Would not recommend used about 20 times would not start had serviced miwed once won’t start
Poor quality mower – I have owned this mower for less than 12 months and already the fuel line has perished and fuel has leaked out of the tank all through my shed. I have literally just finished my 5L Jerry can. So it has had less than 5L worth of fuel used through it in that time. Look, I get that it's cheap. But you would think there would be some kind of… Read more
standard for using fuel quality rubber hose when running fuel lines.
So far it has been doing its job okay besides that on my tiny 30sqm flat lawn. I would seriously advise against purchasing one if you have even a mid sized yard or gum nuts and rocks. The build quality isn't great so it won't withstand bashing from anything but grass.
Yardforce se130 – Dont spend your cash, poor quality machin fills like a toy, doesnt catch the grass like it should and the wheels fill like they r going to snap off at any time. Show details
Find out how Yard Force 16 inch 125CC B&S Lawn Mower compares to other Petrol Lawn Mowers
Know better, choose better.
Very good customer service – I bought 127cc 16” Yard force lawn mower from Mitre 10. I have assembled it properly and put 0.4L oil and 0.8L unleaded petrol as per instruction. But their manual is the worse and I could not actually find how it get started. Then somehow, after watching youtube videos, I got it. But when I called customer service, they asked me to take it to… Read more
Mitre10. Then why did you manufacture this product. Really bad manual and customer service. No clear instructions for first timers.
Yard force 16inch – Biggest waste of money, used 4 times won't start, mitre 10 have no idea about these mowers which is where it was purchased. Don't waste your money on purchasing one of these. Gave 1 star only because I had to mark something, 1 star too many Show details
Reliable. Starts each time – This mower is fuel efficient and being a 4 stroke engine it is much cleaner than 2 stroke. It is tough yet easy to push. The Briggs and Stratton engine cuts the grass easily. Even wet grass. Some people would not use it for larger blocks but I find it is great. It mulches well and makes good compost. Show details
Sh#t Sh#t and sh#t – Just had one in for repair, exhaust valve chipped on retainer ended so basically scrap metal now.. not very old. Do yourselves a favour, but a 2ndh Rover, Victa, Masport for less $$..
Unable to remove grass catcher – Takes a few times to start mower. For some reason unable to remove catcher, haven't had this problem before. Very annoying. Still have more lawn to mow so not happy. Show details
Perfect and easy to use – This works excellent on small/medium sized lawn areas. It is always not too heavy and easy to move it around, it also starts on the first go. Have had no problems with this product and highly recommend it
