Appalling customer service. Would never buy another Yeti product again. We have a faulty product that is less than 6 months old. We have tried contacting the company 3 times now via their website in Australia and haven't even gotten a single… Read more
response from them. They don't provide a phone number to contact them and provide no confirmation they've even received my warranty claim. They are more than happy to confirm your order when you buy online though. The water bottle we bought for my daughter's birthday and getting a lot of condensation and doesn't keep liquid cold. I've bought $20 water bottles that are better than these.
Follow-up · After a bit of help from someone on Facebook, it was suggested I contact Yeti Aus/NZ on social media. I eventually got my reply from the company but do wish they provided this information on their website. There is no confirmation any claims have been received or attended to on their online portal. In saying that, Yeti have since attended to the matter and replaced the faulty bottle, which I'm happy about.
Extremely poor product and customer service. My daughter Bonnie ordered a $77 Yeti water bottle as a special birthday gift for her partner, complete with custom engraving. Unfortunately, it arrived with a huge dent due to inadequate packaging — it… Read more
wasn’t protected at all during shipping.
While the company advertises a 30-day return policy, the process of actually getting in touch with someone to resolve the issue was incredibly frustrating. There was no clear phone number or email address provided for customer support, making it nearly impossible to report the damage or seek a resolution.
Now she’s left without a gift to give, and is still stuck trying to find a way to contact the company. For such an expensive item, we expected much better packaging and customer service. Disappointing experience overall.
Follow-up · No assist from Yeti. Decided to cop the postage and return for a refund. Purchased a competitors brand which was awesome
Pros: Heavy duty insulation - maintains insulation after multiple drops and knocks Easy to clean Decent at keeping water cold Warranty Cons: Lid construction and durability. Solid shortcoming as despite only using cold water the lid thread constantly fails. Meaning water leaks or lid disconnects while carrying bottle by handle causing bottle to… Read more
fall and spill. While yeti do replace under warranty it kind of defeats the purpose of a reusable non plastic bottle if the lid needs replacing every 12 months. Which is possibly more plastic than a years worth of single use bottles. Needs a redesign to match kleen canteens pure metal lids.
Yeti - not as good as they're cut out to be – Got one of the 26oz bottles from work, so was for free. (Actually have numerous Yeti products, given out at work) Overall not a bad product and it does what it says it will do, keep water cool. Firstly the pros - It does well at keeping water cool throughout the day. It is quite solid, so the steel part can take some punishment, the lid on the… Read more
other hand is more susceptible to damage due to the softish plastic that it is made out of. It is very easy to clean due to the large opening once the top and lid is removed. This large opening also makes it easy to put ice in the bottle. Lastly, Yeti has a good warranty which they back. The Cons - As mentioned previously, the lid is made of a softish plastic which is not durable. The thread in my lid deteriorated and stripped within about 4 months from new. I claimed a new lid under the warranty. Yeti first said that the lid had stripped due to having put a hot liquid in the bottle, which I hadn't. Where I work, a hot liquid would be the last thing I'd put in the bottle. It is used to keep water cold only. Yeti did replace the lid. The second downside in my opinion is that a lot of times, when opening the bottle, the rubber outer ring on the top catches on the lid causing the whole top to come off. This is only really a problem when the bottle is full as it causes the contents to spill. The other problem which I'm not to happy with is that the lid and upper top both are made of plastic. In today's age where we are all being warned about microplastics being consumed, the material should be something different as plastic rubbing on plastic will definitely create micro plastics which will end up in the bottle to be then consumed. This is a problem on all water bottles though, not just Yeti. Overall the waterbottle is not a bad product. Improvement on the lid design and material would make it better. This seems to be a problem on all the Yeti products that the plastic on the lids is not the best suited plastic for the job. Would I buy one? Definitely not at the prices that are being charged for them. I also have a Camelbak bottle (free from work) which I think is a better product from a lid point of view but it also has it's short comings and is more expensive. Between the two, my personal preference is the Camelbak.
Not worth the price – Useless doesn't keep drink hot or cold. Looks good though. Show details

Fantastic 10/10 – Purchased a yeti rambler 1.089L bottle from Yeti website. The order process was quick & easy. The delivery was fast! Even with personalisation. The quality of the bottle, along with the personalisation was great. And my teen son still loves it. The only thing I could fault but doesn't affect the use. is the front (where the personalisation is)… Read more
doesn't line up to be the front with the carry handle. The name is on the side and not aligned. A small issue but again overall I'm happy.
I have purchased another "expensive" branded drink bottle twice (due to fault) and I would never purchase that brand again. Not only did the yeti come fast but the quality on the yeti when compared to the other brand (think man's name and a colour)
The best – Keeps water cold for such a long time! Purchase the straw cap with it, it’s absolutely the best! Show details
Amazing at keeping water cold – My 9 years old keep complaining how her water is not cold through out the day wogh her current bottle and worst it starting to rust at the top. I decided to get her a 26oz Rambler and a spare 36oz for myself. My previous 36oz still going strong at work for the last 3 years and numerous heat wave. We do 12 hrs shift and the 36oz managed to keep… Read more
the ice from completely melt. As for the 26oz so far 9 hrs school day (to and from) no complaint.
Regardless what they say, if you dropped off the paint will scratch or chipped off. If the 26oz is like my 36oz the use of hot water/coffee is not as good. It does lose it heat holding capacity.
So is it a good drink bottle? Yes for me, it does not sweat and the ability to keep cold water cold for long period of time (in excessive of 8 hrs) is what I look for.
Useless – Does not keep drinks hot for very long long due to a design fault whereby the heat escapes via the stainless steel ring surrounding the lid. The Bottle is also quite heavy for an item that does not retain heat. Better to choose a recognised heat retention brand such as Thermos etc. Show details
Yeti has actually changed my life – This review is for the Yeti 26oz Rambler bottle with Chug Cap. Big statement here but this Yeti bottle has actually changed my life. I've never been a fan of room temperature water and have always loved my water ice cold. As a result, I've always known that I'm well under the recommended water consumption. I've finally found the product that has… Read more
helped me to increase the amount of water I drink!
I fill the Yeti with a big bunch of ice and water and it keeps it icy cold for about 30 hours. Not that it ever lasts that long because I'm finding that I'm generally going to refill it many times a day anyway. Before my Yeti I would often choose cold soft drinks etc but I now love my cold water so much that I haven't bought soft drinks in months. In fact I loved my new purchase so much that I then went and bought three more for the kids and my husband. All of us are now ridiculously attached to our water bottles.
I'm a little confused by the other reviews for this product. The Yeti website only really advises that this bottle be used for cold drinks so not sure if I've got a different product as many reviews are from people who are trying to use it as a hot drink bottle??
NB. I wouldn't even try to use this bottle for hot drinks. For hot drinks we use Contigo large travel bottles. They keep your drink piping hot all day long and are non spill and fully insulated. Highly recommend if you are looking for something for coffee etc and I love it at work as there's no risk that I'm going to spill coffee all over my keyboard or paperwork.
Far from a robust adventure bottle – My newly purchased Yeti fell from a height of about 50cm and subsequently dented and scratched in several places. For a brand that literally markets itself as 'indestructible' and robust for rugged terrain, I cannot say I am impressed. I reached out to the warranty team but they say I am not covered for accidental damage. Yes an accident, but for… Read more
a company that advertises as indestructible, I would argue the product does not live up to the marketed description. Will not be purchasing it again.
Keeps water cold for days – Fantastic drink bottle to keep drinks cold for 2 days Show details

Know better, choose better.
Big but bit cumbersome – Keeps drinks cool but is not great for hot drinks Show details
Does not keep hot drinks hot – Absolutely useless for hot drinks. Tried to return but was told its ok. Luke warm after 3hrs in my opinion is not good enough. Would not recommend as there are far superior products available that will keep drinks hot. Given as a birthday present so don't have invoice details etc for warranty so probably cant return for refund.
Useless Yeti Rambler – Fact: doesnt keep hot water hot beyond an hour or so Show details
Yeti 26oz Bottle doesn’t keep drinks hot – I bought this to take a hot coffee to work. put boiling hot coffee in it at 6 am by 9:30 it was barely warm and undrinkable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR HOT COFFEE OR TEA!!! I tried to return it to where I bought it and was told my expectations were too high and was refused a refund . No customer service Show details
Frustrating experience – I purchased the rambler without giving it enough thought as I thought it looked great online. I use the metric system and didn't realise how big it would be! Anyway my bad, but it would be helpful to have an image of the product in someone's hand to easily see this in scale. The returns process was at my own expense which is fair enough I suppose,… Read more
but it was also clunky and definitely not easy! Yeti then lost my return so after multiple chase ups I tracked it down myself (it was actually delivered to them quite promptly and lost the their end) for a refund, but no response from them. Overall a frustrating experience
Safety Warning – I have the Yeti 36 oz when I put boiling hot water in it for coffee the top popped up under pressure with boiling hot water nearly burning my face. Safety warning Do not use this for any liquids that are boiling!!!
Love!! – I have a Yeti 26oz bottle with a chug cap, and my daughters have 18oz bottles with straw caps. Both caps are much better than the standard ones that come with the water bottle. The bottles keep water icy cold all day, and are great quality. The usual rough treatment at daycare has barely made a mark. The only down side is that the 18oz is a little… Read more
heavy for my 2 year old to carry around, so we will go for the smaller kids bottle when they’re released in Australia. I am definitely a Yeti convert after seeing the quality of these and the coolers my husband bought.
