Tent was ok, layout was a bit funny, and the darkroom design, but it was sturdy. But, with only 41 nights of use, two times we've had a burst air beam, nearly ruining the camping trip. Zempire replaced the first but is refusing to replace the second and doesn't even have any replacement parts for purchase, rending this $1k tent useless. Have contacted Fair Trading NSW.

Purchased in at Macpac Physical store for $1,040.

A very expensive dud – Initially my experience with this tent was fantastic. Inflation of poles was easy as was the erection of the tent. The layout of the tent was really good. Sleeping area was a little cramped, but the blackout factor was really good. The Tent is expensive, and you need the accessories such as ground sheet and awning set to make it all work, but the first few runs with the tent were very good. This all changed after I'd stored the tent for 12 months and then used it again. During overnight rain a number of leaks appeared and then inside of the tent got very wet. Upon investigation it was apparent that the sealant tape used to waterproof the seams had degraded significantly and that over large parts of the lthe tent there was little to no waterproofing. Its important to note that the tent is only two year old and I have only done 5-6 weeks of camping with the tent in total. The tent came with a three year warranty, however the response from Zempire was less than satisfactory. They blamed the faults on the tent being packed wet, which was not the case, and sent me a link to a third party tape and sealant supplier, with a "your problem not ours" response. So after spending $1100 for this tent, and it being still under warranty, I'm expected to reseal every seam myself. Sealant alone to redo every seam would be $100 - $200

Purchased in at Macpac for $1,100.
