Not a reliable family camping tent – We purchased our first zempire tent for family camping trips with our two young children and my husband in a wheelchair as it was going to be the best solution for us to assemble the tent together so we can enjoy camping despite my husband’s disability.. Very hot day , very remote camping and it blew up so loud I thought it was a shot gun and my… Read more
3 year old daughter was inside as it collapsed on her . Very scary experience for her and so devastating for us as we had to then get out things out and go home . we took it back to where we purchased it and it was repaired by the company . We had it up again the following summer at home for friends to stay in and this time it just slowly leaked through a weakened area that was repaired the original point of where it popped . We were given a brand new tent as a replacement …. We are currently on our way home from a remote camping trip in the coromandel with two sad children and two sad and gutted parents after the new one popped on a hot day. But this time with me inside it . Absolutely gutted is an understatement. We don’t want to ever see one of those tents ever again .
Poor quality air tubes – Only used 1/2 a dozen times for overnighters. Put it up in the evening for the kids - next day got up to 27 degrees & air beam burst. Was only inflated to 7 psi using the Zempire pump. Looks like there are no spare parts available at all, so this turned out to be nothing more than an expensive landfill item :-( Overall, extremely disappointing Show details
Best Tent Ever. - Now Its Pronto 10 – Regular camper here. Used over 10 tents in the past 2 decades but this air tent is really awesome. Stands strong in wind and pitching within 10 min. Perfect beauty!!! Show details
Bought 2nd hand from a friend who upgraded to caravan but only used 3 times – Used the tent for the first time over Xmas. Took a little while to work out how to set up but was reasonably ok - more pegs and guy ropes than I was expecting. We were away for 7 days and during that time we had a few rainy days. Water was getting in but not from the roof (as we also used the sun protector cover over the top) but from the low… Read more
cut sides in the rooms. The way the guy ropes are setup you can’t seem to get the low 100 mm sides to stand up properly so the water was just flowing into the tent. When I got home I put the tent up in the backyard to dry out properly and to try to work out how I could rectify the issue. (Trying moving the guy ropes to different angles and locations to no avail) I didn’t bother putting the extra sun protector over the top at home as I was hoping to dry it out. Anyway it rained at home and without the sun protector over the top the water soaked through the outer layer skin and formed a bubble between the outside skin and the thin layer of blockout sheet on the inside until it popped a hole and now the outer skin and the inside black thin sheet ( which are supposed to be glued together?) have separated in places. Pretty disappointed overall. Surely the tent should be able to withstand a small shower of rain without falling apart like that. It should be able to withstand rain better than that without the optional extra $$$ sun protector over the top. Buyer beware. These tents are not the greatest quality that you read about. I believe I could have got a better quality, more durable tent for half the price if not less.
Zempire 10 Person Air Tent – My Family were looking for a large affordable tent and came accross this one 2020. Upon looking at the reviews, we were concerned about the issues however soon realized Zempire had made some adjustments to reinforce the bladder compared to the old version. In sharing our concerns with the staff at Tentworld, they assured us they ditched the old… Read more
version and we would be purchasing the new Zempire 10 with reinforced bladder. We ened up buying the tent and it has been terrific. Inparticular for a family of seven(Mum, Dad and five young kids. The several pockets on the walls - Inside and out are excellent. The ventelation on all sides is also great. Very easy to set up. Used it and set it up multiple times without any concerns. Our longest camping trip has been 3 days in 25-30 Degrees heat. Inflated Tent once and didnt have to touch it again. Stayed up for until we were ready to pack up and go home. Good quality tent.
Great idea until you get a blowout – 3rd use, 9 months old, 7 nights into 10 night stay, tent blows out. Family holiday ruined. Absolutely devastated. No replacements anywhere nearby. Bad luck for us. No solution to help is out short term. Show details
Best tent we've ever owned very impressed – It was hard to decide on this tent based on the reviews that we have read here but by the sounds of it, we purchased a later version where they have appeared to have rectified these earlier issues. We are so incredibly impressed with it. The air flow and ventilation was a big seller for us because we have been travelling around the top of Western… Read more
Australia with a small child and a baby for the most part of the heat of this year. We have spend a good 50 nights or so in it so far and havent found a flaw. It handles WA wind, dust and heat very well. We have used it in 35kt winds and its very easy to pack up and set up. Especially in a hurry. It can be done with 1 person but its always handy to have a person pumping it up with another person on the inside when its nearly up to guide it to make the pumping easier. Initially we played around with it pumping up the air and letting it down a bit when it cooled down cautiously because we were so worried about it popping like the other reviews said, but now we just pump it until its errect and dont touch it again and never have a problem. The kids jump around in there and bounce off the walls and we dont have to stress about snapped poles or ripped fabric. Its great quality material very strong. So many windows which are great when you have varying temperature preferences. The awning has many different ways to put it up based on the wind direction and shades really well.
We havent seen how it handles the rain yet.
The 16 mesh pockets have been so handy and are very strong and being mesh make it easy to see whats in there and doesnt trap sand or leaves etc. They really have thought of it all with this tent. It is very spacious and I am 170cm and have to stand on my tippie toes to clip the lantern on the hook at the roof of the inside of the tent. We fit 2 queen beds side by side on one side of the tent and still have half the tent for storage space
Im thoroughly impressed with it and cant wait to travel the east coast with it and see how it handles rain. I have no doubt it will do well. Happy to answer questions about it if anyone has any.
Dangerous - Two Tents, 100% Failure Rate – This tent ticked all boxes in terms of size, layout, airflow, ease of transport, good value - and it’s a nice looking tent too. Our parents (highly experienced campers) were equally impressed and purchased one too. Tent 1 Our first trip out - we inflated to the recommended reduced rate (5) as it was pretty hot. The poles were softer in the… Read more
evening, we put this down to cooling temps and inflated to 7.
We woke at 2am, a tent wall buzzing in the back of the fan and a beam rested on my husbands arm. I lifted the central point of the tent to see the walls hovering within a foot of the kids - this is with the lowest point of the tent being held up. We repumped the tent every few hours through the night. We organised a replacement bladder to get us through the rest of our trip.
Tent 2 Just as we returned with a replacement bladder, the second tent exploded at the top joint. This tent was also only inflated to 5 - it was a hot day, so can imagine how much fun it was emptying the deflated tent.
Having followed every direction and with over 80 combined years experience in the camp, I know we did everything right. I have serious doubts about this product and if it has even been tested under Australian conditions.
I followed up with the manufacturer, who assured that they take this kind of thing seriously - I’m yet to see any evidence. I believe there has been a second version released with reinforced bladder but there must be plenty more first versions in circulation.
It needs to be said that Tentworld were absolutely phenomenal and we will definitely purchase our next (pole) tent from here. I am underwhelmed with the response from Zempire - responsive enough, but very focussed on finding the short term fix and failing to acknowledge any issue with their product.
Zempire Jetset 10 Air Tent – Bought this tent last week and delivered quickly by Tentworld and used it over the Melbourne Cup weekend. It was quick to set up compared to other large tents form our past. Found several straps not feed through the buckle correctly could not correct this so could not tighten them down and one of the guide ropes were frayed. But then came… Read more
Melbourne inclement weather it did not leak from above but the wind that was blowing from outside was almost the same in the tent and the outside air temperature was already cold. As this particular tent with the side windows inside has zip from the bottom and along the side in a u shape there was no way to zip the top part, so it just kept blowing in really good with 3 children . Some of our self-inflatable mattresses were wet in patches but apparently that's condensation I was told never experienced this before with ground sheet. After sending a complaint regarding several matters I was told it was summer tent so BUYER BEAWARE its not for Victoria, nor perhaps Tasmania or ACT. The straps was for me to fix with picture how to do it while they are doubled stitched and ends folded over so perhaps with extreme force may work. Basically its not Zempire nor Tentworld fault that we don't like the design; so again be wary when buying on-line ask every possible questions and get in writing. They were happy to replace the ground sheet that looked like it get came from $2 shop with a new one and the guide rope. One would think that the manufacture has some sort of quality assurance procedures and things like that and straps were checked. All I can say with all our years of tenting from canvass to fly tents this tent unless you live up north avoid like the plaque. It may go up quick and with-stood the windy conditions the rest is very disappointing and their reply I found condescending. Which is very disappointing after reading some positive reviews about Tentworld. But when you drill for reviews such as productreview.com.au there is negative feedback about this tent also wish I saw this before buying it from Tentworld.

Perfect family tent but it does not last – Perfect tent but it burst on warm weatherBought this Jetset 10 2 days ago from Tentworld. Delivery was quick and upon received immediately wanted to try put the inflatable tent as I have a camping trip in 9 days time and to get to practice setting up the tent. So I decided to pitch it at my own backyard. It was rated as new in the market and being… Read more
a brand from Zempire I have no doubt the quality should be good. Inflated the tent as per instruction at 7 psi on a weather of 24 Celsius. I was in awe how easy to pump up the tent and seeing the tent come alive. The tent was strong and steady and very roomy. I loved all the multiple windows that can be opened to make the room brighter. My kids can not wait to jump inside and sleep in it.
We were just overly excited about this tent being able to put up quickly and pack down quickly. It is almost evening and I decided to let the tent stand overnight.
When morning came at about 0530 I wanted to check inside the tent for moisture as the temperature was about 10C outdoor. Voila no moisture and I am beginning to fall in love with this tent. So I set out to work and left the tent as it is.
After I came home from work I saw the tent was deflated. Thinking that I might not have screw the valve tightly I tried to pump again. But it does not inflate. Feeling something is not right I remove the flyer and wanted to check if there is a leak. To my surprise I saw a big hole at the top centre arc of the tube. It must have exploded when the temperature becomes warmer.
Well I bought this tent because nobody says it will burst on warm weather. The outdoor temperature have not even reach 27C. Imagine on a summer 40C how much it will expand.
For a new product before releasing to the market it should have been thoroughly tested on outside temperature. I have strong confidence on air tent but the quality of the material plays an important part to prevent it from getting too much stress due to expansion.
It was lucky I pitch the tent to try first before brining to my campsite which would have been a disaster. My confidence with air tent is in doubt. Currently I have already contacted Tentworld and awaiting resolution. My camp trip is less than a week to go and I am now without a tent. I have been looking forward for this camp trip with my family and now my dream of pitching the tent with my kids are gone. I am still awaiting resolution. I hope Tentworld will not disappoint to resolve this issue.
