Run! Don't walk! - Zen is the worst nail salon – Zen nails in Subiaco is the worst. Each photo paints a thousand words. These photos were taken right after my appointment at Zen nails in Subiaco WA. I requested a full set of clear acrylics tips with manicure (for an extra fee) and shellac. It cost $70.00, 4+ hours of my time, $5 parking and $55 to repair). Again these photos were taken right after Zen nails finished their service. Note the acrylic all over my skin, the shellac does not even extend to the tips of my nails and does not cover my nails base, sides or tips (a task in itself to be that unskilled) the shellac does not seal the nail tips. While the photos are telling. They do not capture how really bad their work or how bad it felt. They were rude, and did not speak English. I had to engage in charades to describe the shape I wanted. Little did I know that was the least of my woes. The acrylic was uneven with deep ridges near the cuticles. I rarely write bad reviews unless the experience was especially bad. This salon had lots of great reviews that inspired my attendance. When looking for another nail salon for repairs local boutique owners advised "No, Probably intended for the previous owner. I was the first appointment of the day. While my work station did not feel dirty, there was no evidence the equipment was sterilized at the end of the day or between customers. All those working there were unkept and their clothes dirty & my girls nails a mess. So disappointing. It ruined my entire day!!
