fittins kn the unit to snap. They supplied a new stand however the fitting doesn't fit as it did previous. Further issues include the lid for the basket constantly coming undone and finding the basket floating in the pool with all the contents (leaves etc) floating throughout. I won't buy zodiac again.

NO SCHEDULES - you have to start it manually – Very disappointed that the app does not have any ability for schedules for this unit. I replaced a malfunctioning Zodiac 3000 series that had this feature, only to learn that this newer model cannot have any time of day schedules. Affordable excellence in a pool cleaner – This unit is our fourth pool cleaner. The first two ran off the filter hose. Each routinely got trapped by the water return at the deep end. Don’t buy if you have a leaf problem – Previous Zodiac V3 4WD was much more efficient than this robot ($2450!'). After 4 hours of use the machine had picked up 2 leaves of the 30 odd gum leaves scattered around the floor of the pool. Disappointing – I bought this for a large lagoon pool and after using it for 2 days have decided to return it. If you have a medium sized pool and are happy to switch it off and on manually when you use it, it may be an ok choice. The reasons that it was not suitable for me were: 1. pool 2. Our wifi connection doesn’t reach the pool and we were reliant on the Bluetooth which we couldn’t get working 3. The cable on the caddy is really short so we couldn’t use it at the poolside without using an extension cable. This made it difficult to use the lift feature as we couldn’t see the robot when pressing the button on the caddy 4. The lift feature didn’t work reliably and when it did it couldn’t make it up to the top 5. The robot has no “smarts” - it simply randomly moves around the pool missing lots of debris 6. The robot frequently would not clean the wall up to the water line. It would only make it part way up then fall back down 7. The app is extremely basic and has no ability to schedule the robot to come on and off at specific days / times. All you can do is manually switch it on and off and remote control it

Excellent filter – I’ve been using this pool vac daily since Feb ‘22, except for 3 months through winter. It’s easy to use, easy to empty and clean. The double filter gets heaps of fine material out of the water. No problems with it so far. gets quite heavy and can’t climb the walls. Emptying it 1-2 times a week has prevented this error happening again.

Oct ‘24 update: It has a couple of settings, clean floor only or walls and floor. It still works well however, it seems to have lost the ability to only clean the floor. Whether changing the cleaning mode on the controller or the app, it won’t clean only the floor, it will only do walls and floor. Warranty has expired so, not paying to fix it.
