I usually use Michu cat litter, which I will be going back to. I bought this cat litter but in the watermelon scent and it smells like cat pee in itself. Will not be buying again. Not worth trying to save a couple of dollars. Show details
Excellent absorption and odour neutralising – I purchased this exact product but in the watermelon version recently as I had a $15 credit to use up on Amazon. I was very impressed with its ability to not only absorb the litter box contents but also to mask the odour. In fact I have moved over from the betonite based cat litter to the tofu as a result of using this product. Very easy to clean up and minimal waste. Recommend. Show details
Value for Money , always buy in bulk – Zodiac Tofu Cat Litter is fantastic, and it's currently my favorite cat litter. It has excellent absorption, comes in various fragrances, but my personal favorite is the blueberry and also the original scent. they both havet he light fruity milky fragrance that I love. The main reason I prefer it is because it's relatively inexpensive. The tofu… Read more
cat litter clumps well and is also safer, making it suitable for a multi-cat household like mine. I always order 10 boxes at a time, and the place I buy it from delivers it straight to my door

Stinky out of the pack. Cats refused to use – As our 2 cats’ regular clumping litter brands were always “unavailable”, we thought we’d try a more environmentally friendly option and bought the Zodiac Tofu Cat Litter from a pet warehouse. (We usually get the kitty litter delivered by the supermarket with out groceries for convenience and value.) The packaging looked pretty. The marketing copy… Read more
was attractive. But the litter had a rather unpleasant smell straight out of the packaging.
As per usual, when trying out the new litter, we put the new litter into the “shared” 3rd kitty litter tray (the 2 cats have their own “personal” trays and 1 “shared” tray, don’t ask me how or why they decided this!) The result? The shared 3rd tray was pristine, both cats refused to use this.
So we tipped a little of the Tofu Litter into trays 1 & 2 with the regular litter in their “personal” trays and changed out the litter in the “shared” 3rd tray. The “shared” tray became the most popular, and the 2 personal trays - probably used once! - stank really, really badly.
We got the message and threw the Tofu Litter out. Now, looking at reviews here (large proportion of 5 star “verified” reviews from reviewers posting only that review), I am very wary about spending $$ trying other Tofu kitty litters.
