ZTE Blade A51 (2021)

I want to throw this phone in the bin. It is not user friendly at all. Has terrible battery life. It should never have been offered for sale. I am just waiting for it to die... I imagine that won't take long. Do yourself a favour and avoid this phone like the plague.

Good for calls and texts but not much else – Not a good phone at all, very weak and has the worst battery life ever in a phone. Unless your poor or desperate then stay away from this phone at all costs

Good phone. Have no idea what other reviewer is on about – Cost $129 approx. As good as any Samsung I've ever had. Prior to this phone, I had an S22 and within a short period of time smashed it, accidentally. Decided to go cheap. Bought the ZTE and was surprised at how quick it runs with the copious amounts of apps I have installed. Internet connection is quick. No lag on pokies or porn. Can't complain and hope they are still available because I'll buy a few just as spares and backup phones. Very surprised. Rating for quality 4stars**** Rating for price and quality comparative to the market 5stars*****

They missed the meeting about technology advancing – Where to start… The only time I can personally fathom casually strolling to a local Woolworths or Coles to purchase one of these pathetic excuses for a smart phone, is if you’ve been unfortunate enough to witness your ‘old one’ decimate itself in a variety of ways, be it velocity and a brick wall or drowning in a toilet.. maybe even run over by a tractor. You get the gist. You need a phone and you remember that stand front of house with Optus and Telstra locked devices going on specials every 10 minutes at your local grocer. Why not just get that as a temp, its only 100 bucks or so.. Ill tell you why not to go for this particular phone.

It sucks. NFC is not available despite being told it is – and I’ve tried all things around this, meaning no in store credits like after pay etc. It will at random sever phone calls It will crash all the time and literally chooses moments that are critical for it not to – google maps - I’m lost. It has a function to mute alarms in the morning and does so at whim even if you’re asleep regardless of the triple check before entering a coma If you download more than one app – it will literally fold on itself and shall register touch screen inputs roughly 30 minutes after you perform them Speaking of which the screen is made of rice paper and if you so much as sneeze on it – it will shatter The speaker is shocking – its volume is ok, however I don’t feel like registering and decoding crackles as music or voices The fingerprint scanner at rear might as well be a fake grill on a car.. it worked never..

Overall when you buy this chunk of crap- its like dating a narcissist- at first you’re charmed by its illumination and clean lines but give it a few days not months – and you’ll be gaslit into thinking you’re the one who is broken and you deserve nothing more than the tripe it feeds you on a regular basis.. Oh and don’t get me started on battery life.. just no.. don’t do it. Save yourself and buy a reputable brand.. Anything but this.. That old saying modern smart phones are like the super computers of the past – well this one clearly missed that technological advancement at its core and chose a processor with the same IQ as a pug. Useless…
