Can live without this brand – I bought this model phone in May 2018 looks good to start with its a cheap and nasty phone when you open the box looks like your normal mob phone however comes with not a lot off instructions just the basic inside the menu itself gives the basic functions all the rest you have to work out yourself Its Android phone its really is a mystery phone i… Read more
wouldnt even call it a smart phone in fact its a dumb phone
The functions as for camera are fine very smart features again there is little off lack off information off how to use the camera alone i had to find out myself by accident
All other functions off the phone are fair from the messaging and calling are again fair
The main problem this phone lacks information off how do do things comes again with little information on the menu side off things and one function is if you wanting to bar a phone number you cant bar just one n umber by choice you have to add that number you want to bar to contacts then you can bar that numbers to go to your voicemail so lots off and lack off information about the how the phone its self operates
The design off the menu function is wanting and lacking off how functions on the phone could be better
Sum this brand off phone ZTE SlimBlade L 5 one off the worst mystery phone i have ever owned

Worst phone ever made!! – If you want to own the world's worst phone then by all means, buy this phone! Included in this package is: ° Loud camera snapshot sound that WON'T TURN OFF ° Extremely poor screen quality that unless you hold it in a certain way, you cannot see photos, videos etc AT ALL ° All day spent typing a message because a) it is soooooo slow b) it… Read more
will remove whole words sometimes after you hit the space bar and c) at random intervals the app will close and your left typing on your home screen, causing you to open any app that your fingers have touched while you were typing as it closed.
° Wasted time every day because this phone is soooooo slow it takes all day for it to register that it's even been turned on! (slight exaggeration, but only slightly).
But wait... There's more!
Just because they want your money, these guys will throw in, for no extra cost to you.. At all:
° grey hair (due to frustration and time passing by waiting for your phone to catch up)
° loss of social life (friends think your ignoring cause you can't reply quick enough to say yes to their invitation to hang out)
° anger management classes (to learn how to handle the certain frustration this phone will be sure to cause you
° and, a new prescription of Xanax every month (to help with the anxiety and stress of owning it.
Cheers guys,
And congratulations on joining us!
Can't even use it to wipe your bum – The worst phone you'll ever find. Typing at anything over snails pace freaks out. If you like fully retyping messages this is the phone for you. Only worth buying if if you want to film a phone being destroyed etc. Switching apps is a collosal wait experience. This phone makes you realize phones can indeed be too cheap. Show details
Amazing quality for the cheap price – Considering I only paid $60 for the ZTE L5 Blade, it's an incredible phone. It rarely glitches, it's amazingly resistant to being dropped, and it overall does exactly what I need it to do for my daily life. The only failings it has is that its camera needs a lot of light to take a quality picture and that it has only 8GB of storage, only 4 of which you can use. However, a very good device for the price. Good item – ZTE Blade phone is good item. The phone does it job and you can install apps also the camera works ok and I don't have any complaints about ZTE Blade. and the price on sale online was alright with fast delivery and with customer service plus warranty for the item. Show details
it'll do for a cheapie – It works well enough.... good volume during calls, very poor phone signal no matter what network, battery doesn't last more than a few hours when in use, good useable features, very little storage, not a great camera but good enough. very quiet to watch to video clip but good loud ringtone. Best Value for Money Phone ever with a user replaceable battery – 2018 AMENDMENT: This phone is only useful on the Telstra network - The Data connection does not work on the Optus network. so it is pretty pointless getting it unlocked - I changed over to Optus and paid $25 to get this phone unlocked and found that the Data connection was not Optus compatible. Otherwise, if you remain on the Telstra Network… Read more
it's a bargain.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Telstra market this phone as a Telstra Slim Plus but is actually a ZTE Blade L5
Pros:
Price $59 at Big W on special from $89
Large 5" screen
Android ver 5.1
Comes with all the apps you could need
Excellent forward (5mp) and reverse(2mp) cameras
Usb port for charging or connecting
Internal slot for memory card makes transfering data to PC easy
Battery lasts more than a day with average use
AND the battery is user replaceable!!! a big plus I reckon
Cons;
Locked to Telstra (but I was already a Telstra customer)
Nothing to complain about yet
perfect for my lifestyle – Great cheap phone, excellent android interface with great compatibility to other devices using usb and charging cables i already use! Gets good reception even in our notoriously poor rural area. Good speakers and recording. Good camera resolution and storage. Happy to recommend for anyone needing a reliable and economical phone Show details

Slow and faulty – I bought this phone a month ago and was happy with it for a week or two until it started to glitch and turn off by itself even though I hadn't dropped it once, the phone is very slow after you download a few apps, I wouldn't recommend this item and I am very unsatisfied with the phone as I forgot to grab the recipe with it Show details

Know better, choose better.
Worst phone – It's camera is terrible, blurry and far from being sharp. The key pad has a mind of it's own and takes forever to be able to message anyone. This phone for me is only good for making/receiving calls and texts. I got it for in an emergency needing to quickly replace my Samsung g5, it's really not even close to matching any quality, i guess you do get what you pay for though. Show details
Example; this phone is wonderful – Love this phone great big screen so easy to see things on it keypad easy to use with my big fingers. Takes good photos and easy to send them on via bluetooth or text. I even get on the internet now as I can see what is on the screen. Show details
