Very poor product – Totally back up other reviews on poor battery life and durability of the product No need to add anything else. Horosucts as such for such a hefty price should not be on the market. Will not trust anything of this brand again  Show details

Poor quality and durability – Bought for gym use. Product was good to begin with. Battery started to be unreliable after about 4 months - failed altogether after six with regular gym use. NOT swaetproof as claimed. Good sound and good passive noise cancellation. Location of controls to one side made uncomfortable. Wouldn’t buy again. Expensive for quality and durability. Show details

Poor battery life – Received blue ant pump 2 as a gift, paired to phone easily, sound quality is great. 4 months in battery failed. Cannot buy or even find a replacement battery, useless product, will not buy updated model just for the principle of it, no support anywhere, very disappointing. Show details

BlueAnt gives BlueBalls – I rate these headphones highly for comfort, and reasonably high for sound quality (as far as in-ear buds go). However a few points: 1. Advertised 8 hour battery life. I was lucky to get 4 straight out of the box (which is still plenty, but definitely not as advertised), steadily degraded down to 2 hours over the space of a year. BlueAnt does not… Read more

provide a battery testing/replacement service.

2. Bluetooth does cut out occasionally, especially if you carry your phone in the left pocket, (the receiver is on the RHS of your body, so the signal is not picked up)

3. Product became irreparably faulty about 4 days after warranty period ended. Initially they offered me a future discount if I wanted to buy another product. I was unimpressed; imagine selling a 130 dollar pair of headphones and telling people that 1 year is an acceptable lifetime of such a product! Managed to talk my way into getting a replacement, but the replacement process was horrifically convoluted and Orwellian, and one month on I still have not received my replacement. Let that be a lesson to you all: just go straight to the point of purchase for your returns.

4. Thought I was supporting an Australian company. Turns out the call center is in Manila. So much for supporting Australian jobs.

Until the headphones went faulty, I was pretty happy with the product. After that, my experience mirrors that of all the other low rated reviews on this site. Poor service and a poor product.

My understanding is that purchasing good quality bluetooth headphones are generally a crapshoot. However I am certain you could probably do better than this company. AVOID

For the money it's reasonable – I bought these to replace a faulty pair of 'phones. I wasn't expecting amazing things. But I was expecting reliability and stability. We got most of that. First, the fit. I find that though comfortable it can be a tad fiddly to get them in right. It's a twisty motion that sometimes needs precision. If I get it right they're super comfy and… Read more

won't fall out. Get it wrong and it's going to be a tough work out/gardening session.

Controls are pretty intuitive and easy to remember. The little control bar is light and unintrusive.

The sound is pretty good. I am by no means an audiophile but they do sound pretty good to me. Voices can be a tad hard sometimes but that may be more the source than the headphones.

My biggest issue with these is the Bluetooth connection. Pairing is easy enough. Connecting is quick. But the stability when my phoje/ipod/whatever is in my back pocket region is terrible. And it seems to be just that region that causes issues. Which is a pain because that's where my running pouch is, and when I garden that's where I like to keep my phone.

In the gym I've managed to get the entire building away and kept connections but put it behind my back in my pocket and there goes my music.... It's a weird one.

Battery is pretty good, for how tiny the battery is. I am actually impressed, and this is almost enough to have me overlooking the connection issue.

I've had them now for 6 months and they're still performing well so the longevity may be there. I won't know for another few months. But at the price point compared to many other wireless headphones that perform much worse I don't mind these.

I can hear clearly now – I'd thought for being Bluetooth/wireless it'd affect sound quality and boy was I wrong. Once you customise it to your liking that they provide you with including an earpiece and buds it really does shine. With the extraordinary battery life of 6 hours I find myself not having to recharge much, but when I eventually have to charge it takes no less… Read more

than 15 mins, so it's good to go if you're in hurry. My reasoning for buying these headphones was I don't like those pisky cords 'n' such sand I recently started going to the gym more often or not, with that being in mind it's prefect for those who like to run or workout because it's also sweat proof and you can change with volume with a click of a button, I also experience no sound delay also which is good when you're watching movies on the go. When you're done using the buds you've a nifty little bag for it so it sits nice and tight in it. My only complaint is the earpiece is a bit big, but that's a price to pay for convenience.

Lasted me about 2 years and was honestly great – I am surprised by the reviews. I used these headphones working labour jobs, all day, 5 days a week. High quality sound and a quick half an hour charge which would last around 6hrs. Unfortunately, after around about 2 years honestly, the battery life drained, connectivity was fuzzy and it would only charge occasionally. Its a shame but I had a good… Read more

run with them. Again, I am genuinely surprised by the reviews and how they all experienced right away what I experienced after 2 years. I guess I was just lucky with the headphones I got.

Great! Easy to use! – I've had these headphones for about 18months. I returned the faulty first pair however the second pair work really well! They're light too and very easy to use! Comfy in the ear too. They don't call out and I dont notice them/feel them once theyre on. Very happy with the purchase  Show details

Great Sound and Noise Cancelling – Had this headset for months now, had no issues at all with them so far. The cable is better in front of you to pick up the talking microphone then to have the cable go on the back of your neck.No battery life indicator to show how much battery is left.  Show details

Had to throw $90 into the bin – Less than a year and the battery does not charge properly - I get five minutes max. Not fit for purpose. I should have kept the receipt and gone back to JB for a replacement. Absolute disgrace that products like this are on the market. Suggest to everybody on this site that you write a letter of complaint to the ACCC. Show details

Poor quality....battery life miserable – Sound is not too bad and fit is good, but the quality of this product is terrible, first when I plug to charge it was open in halves....after 12 month battery gone. Now I tried to charge and get fully charge in 1 minute and you can only use it for 1 minute.... Totally disappointing... Show details

Very disappointing – I bought my first pair almost 2 years ago, no issues at all, they still work great. I got another pair before Christmas as a gift for my boyfriend, they would not keep the charge, have issues with bluetooth, keep loosing signal. very different from the pair I bought 2 years ago, quality has suddenly plummeted... Won't ever buy from this company again...

Battery not charging – Two weeks out of warranty. Were purchased for xmas present so bought a couple weeks earlier before using. Blueant wont replace or even offer a discount on a new pair. Very unsatisfied will never purchase another blueant product or recommend. Surely things are meant to last longer than exactly 12 months.  Show details

Decent enough sound but keeps losing bluetooth signal – These are really comfortable and the quality of sound is pretty good for the price bracket. My only issue with them, and the reason I'm replacing them, is that when I'm walking around with my phone in my trouser pocket the signal to the earphones keeps cutting out - so much so that I often have to walk around holding my phone next to the earphones to be able to listen. Shame as otherwise these are pretty good.  Show details

Terrible – Battery life lasted 2 hours on a full charge. Hopeless. Most comfortable ones I have tried, but returned due to poor battery. Takes far too long to charge for the length of use. Does come with good options for different earshapes and sizes though. Such a shame the battery does not last as advertised.  Show details

Blueant Pump mini 2 – Bought yesterday never worked, cable is just 15cm ridiculous, this earphone should cost like $10 instead of $129. I'm very frustrated and I also have to bring back it and maybe I will ask to be refunded for the petrol too hahahahaha. Don't buy this kind of S***t, for little extra money you can get something magic....  Show details

Worthless – Totally useless. Had 2 charges which maybe lasted around an hour, and forever since as soon as I start to use them they chime in with 'Battery very low'. They last about 5 minutes on a charge wit the guy saying how low the battery is every minute. Impulse buy, premium price and nice packaging was convincing, but a 100% garbage product.  Show details

Not happy with this product – These were an impulse buy as they were on sale, and now I can see why. First time I used they didn't hold charge after being fully charged after purchase. I got about 30 minutes out of them. Second time charge only lasted about 90 minutes. Charge cable doesn't stay in properly and now won't even charge. Item used only three times.  Show details

Useless – Battery life poor, maximum 1 hour when new, 12 months later max 45 minutes. Poor quality construction. Main body has split in two. Used not more than 30 times in total from new. Sound quality was good when it worked. Not worth the money. Premium price for a sub par product.  Show details

so so – Battery lasts 2-3hrs max from new, bluetooth signal cuts in and out, and the earbuds are uncomfortable in ears. Volume control isnt very good, you need to keep adjusting volume continually. Wishing i had paid for a more expensive set of bluetooth earbuds now. Review review review before buying something like this.  Show details

Battery died after 6 months – Now it can only last few mins after fully charged, terrible quality will not buy this brand again!!! Can't find receipt not sure what to do now, didn't expect such problem in just 6 months. I am surprise so many people got the same issue, totally waste of money.  Show details

Charging dock stopped working after a few months – These have been well looked after but the charging dock just stopped working for no reason. Way too expensive for such poor quality. Definitely recommend you look elsewhere. This is the second blue ant product I've bought that just stops working for no apparent reason. I won't make the mistake again.  Show details

Hurt My Ears – The sound is good on these and the functions reasonable but the overall ear bud is too heavy and hurts the ear by bending slightly. The problem with any in ear headphones is you can't try these on first so take my word for it and find something lighter and you'll thank me  Show details

Greatest gift ever – I bought a pair of earphones for myself because my old ones were just a crappy $5 pair which broke quite quickly so when searching for the right earphones I came across these and my favourite colour was the first one on the shelf so I took it as a sign and haven't looked back, charges in less than 2 hours and lasts more than 8 hours, the Bluetooth range is also quite good. The sound quality is comparable to my Logitech headset which is great.  Show details

Good item but can be improved on! – I bought the BlueAnt Pump Mini 2 earphones just before new years 2017 and got them for a bargain from Catch of the Day and less than half price of the retail shops. Anyway it's been almost 3 weeks since I got them and I pretty much use them every day. They seem to be good from a sound perspective and the choice of 4 different ear bud sizes is a… Read more

good thing. They aren't advertised as noise cancelling headphones but for me they seem to block out 95 % plus of outside noise. One thing they can be improved on is a small clip on the band so it doesn't stick to the back of your neck and it would be good to have a indicator of how much battery life before recharging there is. All in all they are a good buy and an even better buy for what Catch of the Day has them for.

Do Not Buy – I'm now replacing my second set of Pump Mini 2's. me it's easier for me to go to the shop to replace them and that their warehouse was empty and this was the easiest way for me to resolve the problem. Not only does Blueant's product not work, their customer service was condescending and in effective; they closed both cases as resolved without any sort of satisfactory resolution. I am also disappointed that JB HiFi continue to stock this faulty product. It seems they are just selling the stock off to minimise their commercial losses. Poor product, poor service, poor support, Do not buy!!

One use, dead – Terrible; my first bluetooth earphones. Didnt't even last my first two hour work out. They lasted 25 minutes during my bike ride then permanently died (from full charge). Now bluetooth doesn't work. Inspected the control casing and sweat had also got into the circuitry; not sweatproof as advertsied. Stay away. BlueAnt should be ashamed, a one use product for $89 AUD. Some faults but could still be what you need – The first pair I bought had battery issues. They lasted well enough for 3 months but then the would go flat after 30 - 40 mins. Harvey Norman replaced them in April and the second pair have been holding their charge well. The sound quality is OK and loud enough. I mainly use for pod casts and am not a hi-fi buff so good enough for me. They are… Read more

comfortable to use, even in my small ears. The main complaint I have is the microphone quality when using for phone calls. This is truly awful and everyone I speak to complains so I have to disconnect Blue Tooth when a call comes in. It also means I have to carry a second set for work conference calls etc. This has become such an annoyance now that I wouldn't buy again. Even an average microphone quality would have been acceptable. Maybe I have a faulty pair but that would be two in a row...

Useless – Bought these from Vodafone, for something thats supposed to be "mini" they are huge. Brough home and got to use mine for about 15 minutes and then the ear piece actually came away from the main piece and now they dont work. Not worth buying, even at the discounted price.  Show details

Dunno what the rest are complaining about – I use the blue ant mini 2 and have done for over 6 months. I FIFO to work and then gym twice a day, charging off and on from wall charger or portable charger etc. I love these. Never had an issue. Comfortable, descreet, loud. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat. Infact I did for my partner at the same time as mine and her pair has been faultless aswell and uses them more than I and charges them less..  Show details

Superb Sound – Having been after a pair of very discreet earbuds while working out, I came across the Blueant Pump earbuds. Perfect for workout at the gym, running and cycling; the sound is superb and has no crackling noise compared to other more expensive brands. Blueant has always had the edge when it comes to wireless/bluetooth comms.  Show details
