When only the best will do! – My 2009 zx-14 has 56,000 k’s on the clock and running stronger than ever. The bike has never had any issues other than normal service work. The ZX-14’s are a high quality bike indeed every component has been over engineered to last and after the kilometres I have racked up this stands to be true. Does the zx-14 have neck snapping performance? OMG… Read more

simply YES. Will one stop? Better than anything I have ridden. Can they handle? Yes indeed. However only if you invest in getting the bike’s suspension tuned for the rider professionally. At a cost of approximately $200. Bucko’s on a heavy but super powerful street killer only then, one can blow off R1’s through the hills like they are only a yammi 250cc. Long distance riding? Awesome and up for the task with comfort. Fuel economy? Eh mine not so good but far out wade by the fun factor. Summary If you don’t have a zx-14 well then that’s your problem!

Perfect bike for me and can handle every riding situation and style – Have a 2012 model put 5k on it on one season bike is super comfortable for me (6'4" 200+) handles really well for its size. Body work is all high quality finish can say a bad thing about it. only thing I can say is go buy one you won't regret it

perfect killa big bike – Im 44. Ive owned several big bikes, but the zx14 is the one to feel strong acceleration. Pull the throttle plates on the earlier model, two bros adjustable fuel, and a quick dyno map / tune and all of a sudden they come alive. Power everywhere, big torque ... see ya later. Through the gears on a sorted zx14 is, for the experienced, a big grin. Its… Read more

makes liter bikes look small - and yeah, they are quick, but for solid, outright hyperformance with tough build quality, you cant beat em !!

Absolutely love this bike!! – I have purchased the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14r in February 2014. I've ridden road and sports bikes for 30 years. (I'm now 59) This bike is the best I've ever ridden or seen, metallic black with green stripes down this flues and pinstripes gives it that mean look. I still can't believe it's mine and even when it's sitting in my garage it's hard… Read more

not to go and just sit and look at it. On the road is where this bike comes into a class of it's own, it's got ABS, 3 mode Traction Control and 2 modes of power output. So if your a bit unsure, weather conditions not ideal, just put it in Low Power (75% of full throttle response) and either 2 or 3 Traction Control and the Ninja will do the rest. For the ultimate thrill go to F1, that's full power and minimal Traction Control, sports mode. It even has racing mode (can't even begin imagine what that would be like.) of course Kawasaki strongly recommends NOT to ride it on the road in this mode. This will be the bike that I will NEVER sell, yes it's a beast, but it's very forgiving. Having said that it's not a bike for the inexperienced and if you are an fool you and the Ninja zx-14 will some part company by you going one way and the bike going the other. In a nutshell, great bike best one I've ever had and still pinching myself.

Everyday Livable, Weekend Rush – I bought my ZX14 in 2009 after previously owning Yamaha R series bikes (R6 and then R1). I moved to western QLD and needed something more tourable, but still wanted something fun. After three trips to Phillip Island and numerous rides around South Queensland, I have to say I wouldn't change my choice for anything. Quick in a straight line… Read more

everyone knows, but can tour all day on the speed limit and get 330klm's from a tank (360klm's once, but I was expecting to run out any minute), keep up with all but the best and quickest through the twisties and commutes without over heating in traffic. Despite the reputation, it is not intimidating to those who like to ride with caution, but will reward those with experience. Could do with a touch more clearance on the foot pegs, because they touch down too early when having a go and according to the GPS, the limiter comes in too early as well. 20mm bar raises helpful for tourers and accepts most rack systems. A great bike that everyone who loves quick bikes should try at least once! Super Fun when given a blast, but still a great allrounder. Fantastic depth of talent and cheap for the performance and multiskilling. Service intervals are 6000klm's apart - R Bikes were 7000klm's. Not much else.

Excellent – Awesome, had a few bikes this is the one that has put the biggest stupidest grins on my face. It is a joy to ride, heavy at low speed which affects braking but once moving it feels great in the corners. Definately not for novice riders or idiots. Power, comfort, looks, price, build quality, big tank range 21litres, Rear tyre wear, expect 3,500 to 6000kms, Hard to drive under the speed limit Heat from exhaust cooking pillions feet Show reply
