Piaggio Zip 100

Terrible – Many starting problems. Most fixed under warranty but when starter motor failed 2 weeks out of warranty Piaggio would not help. $700 + labour = scrapheap at 2 years. Outrageous. Could not recommend this to anyone, Piaggio Australia are a disgrace Nippy, maneuverable, good in traffic Very poor manufacture, many mechanical faults, a lemon

Reliable and fast. Just right for short people – Love this scooter. 100cc is powerful enough to get me up and down the hills of Sydney without a sputter. Haven't had any problems with it so far and have only had it's yearly services. I found that the Vespa models in Australia are not suited for short people so I was really happy that the Zip's three different seat heights allowed my 5ft frame to handle the scoot with ease. For a budget of $3000 drive away, this scoot comes with the Piaggio Brand - which to me has a history and reputation for quality and reliability. Great for short people. Reliable, fast and petrol efficient (42kms per litre 95RON petrol)
