Monumental incompetence and obstructionism – This firm is probably the most obstructionist and incompetent insurance company I have ever encountered, either personally or in terms of advocacy. I took out travel insurance via the RAA and was forced to cancel a trip due to a medical issue. So far this firm has requested the same information on four seperate occasions, has queried the legitimacy of a properly issued medical certificate, has continually prevaricated, has shown difficulty in managing basic nomenclature, and has done everything within their power to avoid finalising my claim. I will never deal with this firm again, and I am astonished that a body like the RAA would engage a company of such egregious incompetence as insurers. I would advise any intending traveller to give this company the widest of berths.

Do not use any insurance underwritten by this company – Went through the RAA to get travel insurance, which turns out is underwritten by Tokio Marine. Spoke to them over the phone about some claims we had after problems on a European holiday. “Sure we will cover you for that, just put the claims in on the website”. All claims put in and all denied. Has left us over $15,000 out of pocket and left a very bitter taste of the raa for promoting this company.
Do not use this company for any sort of insurance. The raa has always been good to us, but after this I think it’s time we moved our 7 insurance policies to another company.

hell on earth – these people are low life we took out insurance via the RAC in WA for which they are an agent (RAC washed their hands after receiving their commission and we have not received any response from them in months) last year we made a claim which has been going for 9 months: they just delay and delay every single email this has been a total nightmare and an incredible strain on our relationship And you wonder why people get into a depression or commit suicide shame on tokio marine AND RAC WA no morals at all

I would not Insure my dog kennel with this mob – I wish I could give minus five stars. I lost my house and content in a storm 8 months ago. This insurer did not care how long it took to do a claim. They appoint a claim adjuster they are paying and than did not believe their reports. Every time I asked a question it took them three weeks to answer. The content was paid out over five and half month (three payments).
The house was about eight months after five offers.
This mob does not honor their own disclosure statement (sent a letter asking them why and they did not answer). They come up with how they are doing the best for you while trying to pay you less. They just want to pay you less than the claim adjuster valuation. The just don't care about their customer.
Pay for your policy. But don't dare make a claim.
The only reason I ended settling with the insurance as it was affecting my health.
I could go on forever about this mob. Don't use them. They don't care.

I have just received the last payment for house rent. There was two payment due one over due six week and one four week over due.I was lucky I had a landlord who trusted me.This mob don't seem to know what they are doing or don't care abut their customers.
