Read before you travel to JAPAN with Simsdirect – To anyone planning to buy Unlimited data sim in Japan, Simsdirect won't warn or inform you regarding the daily usage imposed by the Fair Usage Policy in Japan. I was left with no internet connection every 3-4 days (on a 3 weeks trip) in Japan after the first daily use of 2GB data, which Simsdirect came back to inform that they had no control over the issue. This is all due to the misconception of the term "Unlimited" in an attempt to market their product regardless of whatever country you go to. So to anyone reading, buy a data package instead depending on your length of stay in Japan, at least you will pay less for that. Also, have a back up travel sim card (UBIGI, sims at airport, etc.) just in case thing like that may potentially ruin your trip. To Simsdirect, please include such information on your first email instruction, it will inform us better. I'd love to support an Aussies own business, but a company should have more care toward the experience of its customers and their expectation, especially when it comes to travelling.
