Epic fail Conair – I purchased this product for $80 at BigW today. I should have read reviews first. Firstly, there is a sticker on the scale itself saying 'read instructions before use'. The box contained no instructions. I googled the instructions and was able to set my height, age, gender etc, which is the information I assume it requires in order to gauge body fat / water / bone mass etc. The scale purportedly has the ability to record and save the personal details for up to 4 different people. However, the second time I tried to weigh myself, the information I had entered had disappeared and had reverted back to the factory settings. I tried to reset it again several times (and so did my more technically-minded husband) but was not able to reset any of the settings. It does read weight accurately (I compared it against my old set of scales), however the main reason I purchased it was for the other features that it is supposed to offer, which don't work. Instead of a body fat or water mass or bone mass reading, all I get is error messages. I will be returning it for a refund. Granted, $80 is not a fortune, but it is more than I've spent on any other set of bathroom scales, and for the money I would have expected something that worked. Looks nice Total dud
