Not recommended at all – I have had 3 of these hairdryers in as many years because each of them has failed after a few months of regular use. The first blew up with a loud and frightening bang; the second started to smoke; and the third is now only giving me a warm, not hot, drying temperature (and so, presumably, one of the heating elements has died). This product is, quite frankly, a lemon. Although it is still under warranty I will be buying another brand in future.
