not function at all.

The one that did function gives an approx. 35 degree field of view, the images and videos are horribly blurry. Let me be clear - I do not believe an insurance company nor the police would be able to utilise the footage recorded by this dashcam.

The menu is as difficult to use at the user manual, which comes with minimal information (I’ll point out that it is no longer covered by warranty if it is exposed to temperatures above 60c - how hot does your car get in the summer?)

Buttons feel cheap don’t always register presses. The 2” screen has a low resolution.

We tested the footage recorded by this dashcam on both the dashcam’ in built screen and by transferring to PC (we hoped the field of view would be wider after transfer) and found that the footage was no better.

Please, spend the extra few bucks and purchase a decent one - the Vivitar 5.1MP HD DashCam isn’t worth the plastic it’s made out of.
