Poor build quality for the price. Solenoids with plastic coverings that perish with heat and flimsy thin pipes. Show details

I cant emphasise this enough, do NOT buy an Escea fireplace. We have had nothing but problems with our DS1650. It looks beautiful with the logs and… Read more

pine cones but in 18 months it has never worked properly, which at approximately $16,000 AUD is completely unacceptable. The remote never connects properly, the fire often turns on and off several times before settling into "on mode". The phone App rarely connects. The fireplace has turned itself on twice all on its own overnight and Escea head office cant figure out how or why. We have had multiple occasions where it won't turn off so we have to cut the power and turn off the gas at the mains to shut it down. We have spent months and months on the phone trying to get it sorted out. We have had holes cut into the back of our garage wall to access the fireplace, all cables replaced, we have had the circuit boards changed and upgraded twice (which they tried to charge us over $1000 for...) At one point we had a technician in for 5 straight days (about 40 hours or work!) with the whole thing dismantled and it still doesn't work predictably or reliably. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different brand.

Ticks all the boxes – A great heater. Puts out a great amount of heat and looks great when it’s on or off. Doesn’t have access to an app so can’t be integrated into home automation or a remote but it’s not hard to flick the switch on and off.

I was one of the first to purchase the electric fireplace ESCEA LE800, and I’ve been using it for half a year now. As an early adopter, I was both… Read more

excited and a little unsure of what to expect — but I can confidently say this fireplace has far exceeded my expectations.

The standout feature is the holographic flame technology, which is honestly impressive. The flames look incredibly realistic, and from a distance, most people assume it’s a real fire. It adds a beautiful ambiance to the room, especially in the evenings — warm, inviting, and modern.

The design is sleek and minimal, and it integrates seamlessly into our space. It’s also clean, efficient, and a great alternative to traditional wood or gas fireplaces without any of the mess or maintenance.

The only thing I wish it included is crackling fire sounds — the visual is spot on, but the audio would complete the experience. I’ve found workarounds with fire sound from my speaker, but it would be amazing to have it built-in.

Overall, the LE800 is a stunning centerpiece and a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a modern fireplace that brings the illusion of real fire into your home — minus the hassle.
