seventies an have severe arthritis. The website gives a height for the other beds in the range but does not for the Rosewood. I sought advice on this from EMMA and was told, on the phone, that it should be the same height as the other beds. In fact, the top of the slats (i.e. the bottom of the mattress) is only 23cm above the floor so, with a mattress depth of 29cm, this makes the sleeping surface only 52cm above the floor. My wife and I find it awkward getting into bed and, more importantly, extremely difficult getting out and we are both concerned about the risk of falling, especially in the dark. Had I known that this bed was so low to the floor, I would not have purchased it and would have instead bought one (either from EMMA, or someone else) which provided a more easily negotiable height, considering our age and lack of mobility. I have been tempted to place a brick under each of the legs/supports but that, in itself, would present other safety issues. Hopefully, somebody from EMMA will read my comments and be able to suggest an acceptable solution.

courier can tell me when it might be in Darwin. It seems it took 10 days to be picked up by the courier.

Meanwhile, the mattress I bought from Ecosa had excellent tracking and was here within the week.

Emma is not recommended if you live non-metro!!
