and even after four hours and several cycles of drying the clothes or towels are still not dry. I’ve literally been trying to dry the same towels for three days now. I set it going and go to work or bed expecting they will be dry but they never are without intervention by restarting it again and again. I just went to get them out after two consecutive days of auto drying because I want to dry something else but they are still damp. So for the third day in a row I’ll try again. It’s going. I just don’t have time for this. I honestly can’t recommend this dryer to anybody. The amount of time required to get a dry load far outweighs the energy rating.

Had cloths in for a hour and 40 min and they were still damp. Not over filled either. If you put sheets or doona covers in they roll up in a ball needed to open it every 10 min to spread the sheets out . Sooo annoying. Wouldn't recommend Show details

load, and front lint trap gets cleaned with needle nose pliers after every 3rd load. Really poor design to try to keep clean. Have to unscrew it to do it properly. Vacuumed once a week.
Tonight, it CAUGHT FIRE. Smoke everywhere, took smoking clothes out of drum and saw actual FLAMES behind the drum. Dragged it outside, burnt my fingers and hosed it down. Could have burnt my house down.
Will NEVER buy a Solt product again.
