inside of my pot still started cracking after only a year of use. I contacted Chasseur for a replacement, but not only did they refuse to take responsibility for a subpar product, they turned around and said that the warranty is void as it must be user error - even though I diligently followed the user manual! Will never buy from them again.

the much cheaper Chinese made copies of the cast iron pots we were unhappy with the quality and read many dissatisfied reviews. We then came across this Chasseur Brand, French made and available on the Peters of Kensington website. Less than half the price of Le Creuset. Excellent quality, more than 6 months use and still looks like new. Heavy and delivered with a free "dolls house" size copy for the 100th Chasseur anniversary.

Ive worn out all my non-sticks and am finally over it! yes, it's very solid and very evenly dispersing of heat, and with the included long French style spatula you get a very authentic experience (for crepes and galettes bretonnes). This is truly one of those " Buy one for A Lifetime" kind of products (rather than a toxic disposable rubbish which abounds ) which makes it worth the investment. yes its non-stick once seasoned. You dont need to pick it up to flip a creep (its too heavy - so adjust your technique and use the included spatula (they include the full size long French Rozelll - wooden spatula - which I didnt realise,. bonus! P.s. its has a certain delicacy due tot he finish -dont smash it and it wont smash.
