Hill's Science Diet Adult Dry Dog Food
No surprises – She didn’t LOVE it. This isn’t surprising as it’s low fat and made for sensitive stomachs. Sounds boring but is effective. Show details

damaged. He said that whilst she would be able to regain the use of her leg he feared that she would have a lot of arthritic pain as she aged. Six months after the operation, she was walking on the leg, but was very stiff and sore. I tried all types of supplements with no success. I was skeptical about this food and it was quite expensive, but decided to give it a go. Three weeks into the first bag and she is a completely different dog. She is running and playing again and not hiding all the time. She is walking on her leg with very little stiffness. I will continue to buy the Hills Prescription Jd Joint Care and highly recommend it to others.

Canis Dingo loves it! – Hello from Mirri, I am a little Dingo who started on the small dog pellets when I was 8 weeks but at 12 weeks I needed something more to chew on (my… Read more
teeth hurt) so I have gone on to large size Hills kibble. I love it and remarkably my cohabiting monkey speaks very highly of it as well. As a quality food it is a bit/lots more expensive then supermarket brands but as I don't have to work I just don't care and really I only eat a couple of cups a day, so a big bag lasts a long time.
Benefits I also don't care about but get honourable mention by the monkey are, it does not smell, and pops out like magic as a firm easy to picked up dog egg predictably twice a day. For reasons that are a bit obscure to me , dog egg consistency, frequency and mild/no smell seems to be of undue importance to the monkey. Go figure!
Anyhow must go, got a tree to climb and then laugh at the dogs who can only look up in forlorn hope of a miracle. Boy, have I got a surprise for the cat over the back if he seeks to colonise my yard and thinks the trees are BAR.
Merry monkey ownership season.

Really disappointed with the misleading information of this product in regards to size. Yes, I discovered when it was delivered that it has an… Read more
'actual size' picture on the pack but that is very easy to miss when buying online. Plus, it's promoted as 'small bites' and there is a Chihuahua on the package, literally the smallest dog in existence, yet the kibble itself is MASSIVE! Like 2 - 2.5 cms (1 inch) square! I bought it for my Chi X JRT who has recently has a mandibulectomy, so I need to keep his remaining teeth in the best condition I possibly can and there is no chance that he can eat this kibble, it would have been difficult to eat even if he had both jaws fully intact. Even chopped up in to quarters (a time consuming task which also leave the kibble with rough, uncomfortable-to-eat edges) he struggles to eat the larger pieces, and doesn't seem to love the flavour, he chooses other kibble over this when I put out a selection. I cannot see smaller dogs, particularly Chis, Min Pins, Poms, toy poodles and other toy breeds even managing to fit this in their mouths. Super disappointed that I spent so much money on a food my dog basically can't eat, and that the company knowingly gaslights customers with the image and wording on the front of the pack.

My dog can’t live without it – Dog likes the food, she is diabetic requiring same diet daily, never had a problem with it. We buy the large bag regularly, and use the ID tins for her. Show details

This is just a single hydrolysed protein, NOT hypoallergenic – Sadly, vet FOH staff are telling people this product is hypoallergenic. My vet only sells Hills so I bought it. My French Bulldog broke out in rashes after this so I had to go back to Royal Canin hypoallergenic and havent had any problems since. Show details

Diet for for Dogs – My dachshund is very overweight. After only one week on this dry food he has lost 500gm. We have a way to go yet, but this new dog food is very promising.

one dog is 8 1/2 yrs witha slight luxating patella ) , and I thought it might make a change for them. The kibble is still quite small , and crunchy with a slight " fishy " smell that our boys seem to like ! Though it will probably never completely replace our preferred brand ( see other review ) , it is a very good stand-by , and , as it is Hills, it is a quality product .
Our younger less-fussy fellow seems to enjoy this product more than the older one I intended it for , though they both eat it ! Small size kibble.
