There are obvious improvements with the OP13 such as water proofing, visuals, camera etc and I can recommend it. However from a personal perspective I question myself whether they justify the significant jump in price for everyday use. My old OP 11 seems just as smooth, similar battery life and oddly somehow feels better in the hand. I've owned OnePlus 6, 8, 11 and now 13 and honestly they all performed the same daily tasks just as well. I guess being a man of a certain age I just love the thrill of unboxing new supposedly bigger and better gizmos.

moment I first opened the case, the earbuds felt premium and well designed. The charging case is compact and easy to carry in a pocket, and the earbuds themselves are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear for long listening sessions. Their snug fit makes them suitable for commuting, walking, or even light workouts.
The sound quality is one of the highlights. The earbuds use a dual driver system tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio, which gives music a rich and balanced character. Bass feels strong and energetic without completely overpowering the mids and highs. Songs sound detailed and immersive, and features like spatial audio can make movies and videos feel more cinematic. For everyday music listening, the audio experience is quite enjoyable and lively.
Active noise cancellation is another useful feature. It does a good job reducing background sounds such as traffic or general office noise, making it easier to focus on music or podcasts. However, in very noisy environments it is not quite as strong as the best noise canceling earbuds from brands like Apple or Bose. Still, the different ANC modes and adaptive settings make it flexible for different situations.
Battery life is decent for daily use. With noise cancellation turned on, the earbuds usually last around five to six hours per charge, and the charging case extends the total listening time to about twenty five hours. Fast charging is convenient too, since a short ten minute charge can provide several hours of playback.
Overall, using the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 has been a solid experience. They combine comfortable design, enjoyable sound quality, and useful modern features like spatial audio and fast charging. While the noise cancellation and battery life are not the absolute best in the premium earbud market, the earbuds still deliver a well balanced and satisfying listening experience for everyday use.

In a recent update they have locked the noise cancellation on the main camera to such an aggressive setting you can't record your family without odd patches of silence. For any type of music, forget it.
For years the company has refused to offer support for external microphones. This is really frustrating because it's a simple setting on their end. As some dude on YT noticed. You CAN make the camera take audio from an external mic if you start a WhatsApp call before you open the camera. But who has a friend willing to be pranked and stay on the line every time you want to video something?
On top of that many of the previous updates caused big issues with Chrome, Assistant, Maps etc - Really fundamental apps. The sound settings in general are painful.
