thought , seeing as we had the fabric done with a five year protection plan that it wouldn’t look dirty. Very disappointed.

starting to become difficult to close due to bent parts underneath. By April, they were not closing at all. We put in a warranty claim (April 2025), it was approved and passed on to a contractor. It is now July 2025, and we are still being told that they are waiting for parts. The only action that has been taken is the contractor offered to come out and try to close them. He managed to close one but not the other. We are thankful for that. He did say he gets called out to work on this model a lot. This has been very disappointing and we will never buy from Amart again due to them continuing to sell an obviously faulty product and their absolutely terrible customer service.

together for a novice like me. Thank goodness for my older son bc I would not have been able to do it!! Nobody explained it was flat packed to me. I didn’t realise until after I had paid and went to pick it up. Admittedly though, the price was great for the item.

months. One chair is a lot worse than the other, the paint has bubbled on the frame and under the paint the timber is rotten, this makes it unsafe. I paid $200 each and apparently this issue is not covered under warranty. Would not recommend or buy again.

Glass breakage not included in warranty – Great coffee table but after only 20 months the glass top has randomly shattered and glass is not included with warranty. Cannot buy glass top separately. Don’t buy glass furniture.

March 2025. ie 17 months after delivery, the colour has begun to rub off on the head rest area during cleaning with the product provided by the supplier. Submitted a repair/ replacement or refund claim on 31/3/25. Assessor came to view damage on 1 May and was told a report would be compiled and outcome emailed. Received "claim denied" response on 2 May saying due to "wear & tear" claim is denied. Asked for review - again denied. I am sorely disappointed by Amart's response to this claim as this 2 seater set is only 17 months old and has been cared for diligently as directed by supplier. Upon purchase, the salesman told my husband and I, that this suite boasted top of the range leather and was guaranteed for 12 years for any type of damage occurring, with the exception of rips from dog paws. We will never purchase from Amart Furniture again and will never recommend them to anyone as they do not honour their warranty. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever encountered. Do not purchase from Amart Furniture if you expect them to honour their warranty.

The biggest issue is that the table stains incredibly easily—any food spill, even minor ones, leave marks that are almost impossible to remove. No matter what cleaning product I use, the stains remain, and in the process of trying to clean them, the table’s smooth surface has started to wear down.

To make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service to inquire about a return, their response was shockingly unprofessional. They compared the table to a white shirt, saying that if I stained a white shirt with food, I wouldn’t expect to return it. A dining table is a place where we eat, not a piece of clothing! This dismissive attitude left me extremely disappointed.

Overall, this table is not practical for everyday use, especially in a dining setting. If you’re considering purchasing it, be prepared for a frustrating experience with both the product and the company’s customer support.

to furnish our newly built home. Allow me to state now that we had no previous experience with or problem with Amart Furniture. All other furnishings purchased that day are of decent quality and are showing no signs of premature wear and tear. They are "Fit for purpose" and are "Performing as described" The outdoor lounge suite was purchased along side the 7 piece Barbosa outdoor dining suite as a matching set. While the 2 sets of furniture appear to be of similar construction with the plastic wicker looking very similar upon closer inspection the plastic wicker of both pieces has a different feel and clearly are not of the same quality. The outdoor lounge is advertised as "Uv resistant/stabilized" and also described as "durable" with the marketing material clearing displaying a photo of the lounge in open air, full sunlight. The lounge also comes with a 5 year warranty. The lounge suite as well as the dining suite been located on our south facing, fully covered deck since their delivery, meaning the lounge gets 2 hours of morning sun each day on the eastern side and the dining suite on the other side of the deck gets 2 hours of afternoon sun from the west. The dining suite is showing zero sign of wear and tear and it is fit for purpose and is performing as described and as expected, where as the lounge suite has crumbled to pieces, even the sections of the lounge which get no sun are breaking and crumbling now leaving the lounge unsafe and unusable after less than three years of very light use. After contacting Amart over a year ago with our concerns we were told that the UV resistant, durable wicker furniture needs to be covered to protect the plastics from drying out and becoming brittle??? this was not advised to us upon purchase and is a clear indicator that Amart are fully aware of the extremely poor quality of this product and will use any excuse to avoid honoring their ridiculous warranty. The lounge suite cost $1500, they offered $750 compensation. This product was never uv stabilized or durable, it is actually now quite dangerous to sit on. Amarts, Barbosa outdoor dining suite sits right next to it in the exact same conditions and has zero uv damage, we have a three piece plastic wicker set on the front deck that lives in full sun, constantly, from a different retailer, same age, cushions are a little faded but the plastic wicker is faultless. After researching Amarts reputation in relation to warranty claims it is clear they simply do not back their products and do not care about their customers, with proper sales service we would been customers for life instead now we will attack their reputation every chance we get, hundreds of people have seen the condition of this furniture and have been heard our story but we will continue. We are about to embark on a full digital assault on Amart furniture with the hope that somebody else will be saved from throwing their hard earned dollars down the can. They have zero care for their customers satisfaction and they are peddling garbage products which will end up in landfill prematurely.
