expect (Kid friendly, perhaps? But kids don't usually cut up the meat). Tried them on well-roasted lamb and they get through, but not like a knife through butter like you'd expect. And they will only get more blunt as time goes on.
Second disappointment is that they feel like they are made for a left-handed person (Fine, you say - Curtis cuts left-handed), but most people are right-handed and there needs to be an alternate type made if you want sales (these were complimentary from Coles).
Finally, there is no pin holding the shears together (they have a twist-projection for blade separation instead), so if you absent-mindedly pick these up at the barbecue by one finger hole, they promptly fall apart.
Save your money and buy the Jasni Stainless Steel Sharp Korean Barbecue BBQ Kitchen Scissors instead - they are right-handed, have an inbuilt bottle cap opener/nutcracker and have a self-locking nut and washer holding them together!

expensive as its so Badly Design/made with it's rubber corners cheap wood Used. When I first used it, I noticed it was hard to side on the kitchen benchtop owing to the rubber corners. After I used it to carve/slice I noticed the surface was scored, cheap soft wood used. We have had it about a month and my wife noticed after a rubber corner came off, it was covered in mold. So we have put it in the bin. You would think Coles would test these products they promote before releasing it to the public/customer most likely too busy counting the profits margins.
