starting to become difficult to close due to bent parts underneath. By April, they were not closing at all. We put in a warranty claim (April 2025), it was approved and passed on to a contractor. It is now July 2025, and we are still being told that they are waiting for parts. The only action that has been taken is the contractor offered to come out and try to close them. He managed to close one but not the other. We are thankful for that. He did say he gets called out to work on this model a lot. This has been very disappointing and we will never buy from Amart again due to them continuing to sell an obviously faulty product and their absolutely terrible customer service.
Very uncomfortable, extremely hard – Looks ok but so hard, the most uncomfortable I have ever seen, sitting on for a few moments at a time is the most I can manage, it took 6 months to arrive
Glass breakage not included in warranty – Great coffee table but after only 20 months the glass top has randomly shattered and glass is not included with warranty. Cannot buy glass top separately. Don’t buy glass furniture.

March 2025. ie 17 months after delivery, the colour has begun to rub off on the head rest area during cleaning with the product provided by the supplier. Submitted a repair/ replacement or refund claim on 31/3/25. Assessor came to view damage on 1 May and was told a report would be compiled and outcome emailed. Received "claim denied" response on 2 May saying due to "wear & tear" claim is denied. Asked for review - again denied. I am sorely disappointed by Amart's response to this claim as this 2 seater set is only 17 months old and has been cared for diligently as directed by supplier. Upon purchase, the salesman told my husband and I, that this suite boasted top of the range leather and was guaranteed for 12 years for any type of damage occurring, with the exception of rips from dog paws. We will never purchase from Amart Furniture again and will never recommend them to anyone as they do not honour their warranty. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever encountered. Do not purchase from Amart Furniture if you expect them to honour their warranty.
