unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. From the start, the product came with the wrong female hose connector, which made it impossible to use straight out of the box. They gave me a $20.00 refund, and I had to go to Bunnings and search for the most appropriate female connector myself. To my surprise, I found the right one, as the one supplied was a mismatched connector so be aware of this.

Once I finally managed to get the unit working, things only got worse. After about 10–15 minutes of use, the high-pressure hose split in two areas simultaneously. The hose was not kinked, twisted, or in contact with the engine like they say, yet it still burst under pressure. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the supplied black hose is rated at only 3400 PSI, while the machine itself produces up to 4800 PSI, a clear mismatch. That means the hose provided is simply not compliant or suitable for the pressure output of this unit.

Edisons customer support insists that the hose must have come into contact with the hot motor. Even if that were the case, that should not have happened and still take that amount of heat without issues. In other words, what they are saying is that the black high-pressure hose is made of cheap plastic that will kink easily and melt or burn under normal use.

When I raised the issue with the support team, they maintained that the hose had melted due to contact with the motor, which was physically impossible given the hose’s position and the direction of the damage (Look at the photos). I even reconnected the hose and tested the positioning myself — there’s no way it could have touched the engine. Despite clear photographic evidence and technical logic, the company refused to acknowledge this as a manufacturer’s fault and told me it wasn’t covered by warranty. If the hose had contacted the hot motor or exhaust causing such damage then this is not accidental damage as they said, but a design and quality issue.

In short: • Supplied with wrong hose connector — not usable out of the box. • Flimsy, under-rated hose that cannot handle the unit’s pressure. • Cheap plastic material that can kink, melt, or burst easily. • Poor customer support unwilling to take responsibility or investigate properly. • Misleading component compatibility — a potential safety risk if the hose bursts.

Although the pressure unit looks and seems to work great. Customers should be extremely cautious when buying this product.

inexpensive pressure washer a go. Purchased it for $169 via Woolworths and it was delivered within 2 business days. Used the machine today for 2 hours and was super impressed with its performance. I used the turbo nozzle as I needed high PSI pressure to remove dried spilled oil based paint that was on my path. The turbo nozzle stripped it off much quicker than I expected. I am very happy with this machine. A tradie quoted $250 to complete this cleaning job, so I have saved $81 and still have the pressure washer for future use.
