getting a good deal.
no one told or corrected me at Sydneytools or confirmed what the actual operating pressure is.
after using it a few times, it did not feel like 4000psi at all and i was going to put a pressure gauge on the machine also. saved me a lot time friggin around mate.
got this machine 2 months ago maybe and i will be returning it promptly, falsely advertised and not fit for use!
no doubt it will take an hour to argue my points across before they offer me a useless store credit as per their returns policy. And i paid cash!!!
Mixed Bag: 2500 PSI Rated Pressure but Turbo Lance Weak published 4 years ago I have tested the Typhoon TE4000 from Sydney Tools for $499 a few times now.
Its Typhoon's top electric model.
Rated Pressure: 2500 psi
Confirmed with Pressure Gauge: 2600psi/180bar, but this is when the pump loads up when you switch it on, when you press the trigger the Operating Pressure is 1900PSI.
Claimed Weight: 27kg
Weight on scales : 22kg
Cleaning Pin and Manual included.
Vario Lance and Turbo Lance Included.
The pump produces what's stated on the machine and evem more which is 2600psi, I connected a pressure gauge at the hose and it hits 2600 when machine loads up, when you squeeze the trigger it drops to just below 2000psi to 1900 PSI, so the OPERATING Pressure is 1900PSI, not 2500 like you are lead to believe. which is with the vario lance. Jet stream feel quite powerful.

minutes. Initially, it worked well, delivering decent performance for my needs. However, it suddenly developed internal leaks, and the pressure dropped to less than that of a garden hose.
My main frustration is that the machine wasn’t used heavily, yet it broke down just after the warranty period expired. This left me feeling it wasn’t cost-effective to repair. A product that fails after only a few hours of use reminds me of the poorly regarded plastic tools from the 1960s and 70s. Unfortunately, I must say that this Typhoon model is even worse than those.
While it performed adequately when functional, its lack of durability and sudden failure have left me highly dissatisfied. I cannot recommend this product due to its poor build quality and short lifespan. I have
