cameras for the last 6 years and was really impressed with their quality. Unfortunately this vacuum cleaner is terrible. It’s loud, it loses its map and preprogrammed settings (exclusion zones etc.) and it doesn’t do a great job on carpet. I will be replacing it with another Roborock as soon as I can afford to.

as we have no children or pets. It doesn't have to work very hard to clean our floor, yet it always looks bad. We clean the internals on the machine once a week (with a toothbrush & with great detail) but it still does an average job even when freshly cleaned. Then we reverted to doing one room each day in order to give the machine a "rest". This was a tip given by somebody on the internet. Still the same outcome. More recently, the machine lost the map, so we tried to reset it a dozen times and yet it continually fails to find home base. It goes round & round until it loses battery charge. We paid $2600 for the Eufy S1 Pro and wouldn't recommend it.
Eufy X10 Pro Omni
Bought this robot the end of December 2024. It now has a know fault with the robot and eufy does not want anything to do with warranty in Australia.… Read more
This is from there chat "We are very sorry, but we are not responsible for the warranty service of products sold by Australian distributors. We are unable to create an order for you in our system or provide you with any after-sales service." Great support eufy thanks. After a lot of discussion with Harvey Norman they replaced it with the e25 at a cost of $40 extra.

This is probably the cheapest robot with an actual roller mop rather than traditional circular pads or the even older mop pad. The advantages of the… Read more
roller mop is that it cleans and supplies fresh water to the roller while it is mopping, eliminating the needs to stop and return to the base to clean the mop. This ensures deeper cleaning. (something premium you will find in more expensive robots).
This type of mop will mostly benefit houses with hard floors (tiles etc). The robot also has a split vacuum roller brush that spins hair towards the centre where they simply get sucked inside the canister rather than tangle around the brush. (Again something premium you will find in more expensive robots).
PROS:
Mopping is excellent for the price point and this is the cheapest model with a roller mop as well as one of the earliest to have adopted this mop system, even roborock did not release one until later and it costs almost double the price! (Better yet if you wait for a discount, it goes on sale often). The roller is a true edge-to-edge roller from one end to the other, hence why the robot is not the common ''circular'' shape.
The base is well designed and the water tank even has an LED light that turns red when something is wrong (like when it is empty) to alert you visually. The fresh water thank is one of the largest I have used and it will last for many runs! (however, due to the dirty water tank being large too, emptying it more often will ensure it doesn't become smelly).
Its side brush arm extends to reach corners (Another feature that is usually found only in more expensive robots). I have put this to the test and it works really well!
Vacuuming is very good and it has an automatic function where the suction increases automatically while going over carpets. As I mentioned earlier, the split roller brush helps to de-tangle hair.
The app has ample options from setting schedules, to setting up no-go zones, and even (Finally) expanding a map while it has already been created (This was a huge issue on many previous robots - not only from eufy) where once you created a map you were unable to add another room, instead you had to create a new map from scratch.
Eufy also (Finally again!) has a quick mapping option where the robot does a quick run to map your house conserving battery. In the past, with Eufy robots you can only map a home and clean at the same time, so if your house was big the battery could run out before mapping was completed. Eufy is late to the party as Roborock and Narwal had this for ages! (However, better late than never).
The robot has AI obstacle recognition and I put that to the test, by leaving 2 white socks (on white tile) on the floor and it recognized them and avoided them. It also pinpointed them on the map on the app. It did the same with wires and cords that I had on the floor.
Frequent firmware updates from Eufy (I had 4x in about 7 months I have owned the robot) improving navigation and other parameters.
CONS: (I hope a representative from Eufy reads this).
When opening the app sometimes the map disappears or when you select a room to clean the cleaning options do not come up thus you are unable to commence cleaning. (this is fixed by ''force closing the app'' and restarting). I emailed Eufy support about this and they were no help.
This is probably the most frustrating part, the robot is unable to recognize changes in its map on the fly. Meaning, when I move furniture around it still thinks the furniture is in the same spot from the previous run and it will avoid that area as if the furniture was still there! It takes a good 2-3 runs over the same area for the robot to recognize significant changes in the environment and adapt. Roborock does this on the fly in real time! if you stand next to it and you suddenly move it will still go ''around you'' as if you were still there! (This needs to be addressed with a firmware update). It is not a big issue however the robot has LiDAR navigation with RGB cameras so there is no excuse for not being able to adapt to changes in the map in real time.
The other annoying thing is once the robot cleans a room it goes back to the station and auto-washes its mop. You cannot turn this option off, which is totally okay, however after it washes its mop and you want to clean another room, it will wash its mop again before it starts! It does not remember that the mop is already washed from the previous run. This ''double-washing'' is a waste of energy, water and time! (A firmware update to address this should be fairly simple).
The robot can do random things (although it has improved from ''occasionally'' to ''almost never'' with frequent firmware updates) For instance, when it gets stuck and i have to pick it up, once I put it back down, sometimes it is unable to resume from where it left off. It seems like it 'loses its bearings' and it tries to work out where it is again then endlessly going around and around without success. (again this happens very rarely now after that last firmware update).

Filter design need resolving – I was hoping for good things when we purchased the X8 Pro after a very disappointing experience with an L60 SES - which we had for just 3 weeks,… Read more
which was purchased to replace a 5 year old Eufy 11S. The X8 Pro is a nice quality product - this is very evident when you take it out of the box. The APP is good and allows customisation of cleaning routines, zones etc. The fairly fundamental issue l have with this product is the filter design - and l am not the only one if you dig around online. My old 11S have a very simple 2 part filter - a foam section and then the finer paper filter. This was very easy to clean. On the X8 Pro Eufy have integrated the two elements into a single assembly which cannot be separated. When you wash the filter - as per the instructions, dirt gets caught between the initial (coarser) filter and the paper element and it is "very" difficult to remove. You certainly cannot wash it out - believe me i tried. I ended up having to try and suck this dirt out with my old Dyson - really!!!. I am not the only one to have this issue and someone in the US did mange to find a two part filter which they indicated was supplied by Eufy but the Eufy customer service people l was in contact with had no knowledge of this - they were of no help by the way. I asked them to supply another filter which they declined to do - the unit was 2 weeks old at this stage. I was referred to the seller - Good Guys, who would be supply a replacement, but they couldn't.
The other issue with the product is that it doesn't seem capable of getting onto our relatively thick, shaggy rug - the 11S and L60 were both able however. I have returned the unit to Good Guys as per the suggestion of Eufy.
We have a mix of hardwood floor, carpet and the shaggy rug l mention above. The unit seems to clean the hardfloor and carpet well.
I can live without the ability to deal with the shaggy rug but the filter issue is a big issue as far as we are concerned!
