Good for the price – Firstly the 5 stars is based on a purchase price of $128. The speakers are a very competent set of bookshelf speakers. Decent mids; but treble isn’t… Read more

crisp and bass isn’t deep enough to replace a small sub.

Because of the internal equaliser this speaker doesn’t suit any studio work as it will not play raw sound. This internal equaliser suits newer music like pop/rnb/electro more than classical and classic rock etc.

Will be loud enough to use in a small room but not likely for a house party.

Edifier S3000pro speakers...wow – Well, now I know the specs say it goes down to 38hz...cool story Edifier, got me...they actually go down to 23hz! Audible! I know that sounds… Read more

ridiculous, and honestly, the sound out of the box is good, the best DSP mode is Dynamic, and second is Vocal...look, all in all, if you want high quality speakers, I think these are your best bet at getting real sound to your ears. Just buy them, you won't regret it. I have them hooked up to my computer through USB, and they have been running now for 2 weeks without any problems what so ever. I did EQ them a good amount, but it's all pretty much room noise. JUST, BUY THEM. DO IT!

Outstanding – Outstanding performance for the cost. I downsized from a large suburban brick house to a very simple, small timber cabin. My much-loved 2.2 + hybrid… Read more

amp simply wouldn't fit.

After much researching... This freakin little 2.1 getup, at literally 1/20th the cost of my big boy mains, subs & hybrid amp, is doing a simply brilliant job. Clear highs, fresh mids, tasty lows (yes, good drum!). It's beautifully finished too. I don't know what i'm going to do with that stereo gear, but for now i'm happy. Forget soundbars, this Edifier kit is ridiculous value for money & sound.

the sound is quite far reaching in the room, l looked around for this speaker after reading some reviews as l knew l wanted an edifier speaker again just not which model, when l seen this from JW Computers on ebay at an excellent price, by far the cheapest l had seen, most were around the $135 mark, so l saved over $20.00 from JW, could not be happier.

Amazing Sound for the Price! – Great little package with lots of connections available. They sound is really amazing for how much these cost. They do lack some richness and depth… Read more

to the bass, but still very capable for the size of the drivers. I take these away with me when staying in hotels etc as they are easy to set up and can crank up surprisingly loud with no distortion. Remote is a bit cheap and crappy but does the jo otherwise I couldn't fault them.

Before I start, I bought a second set for my TV. Overall, a very pleasant listening experience and seriously difficult to beat in this price range.… Read more

I find it very nice for a wide range of music.

I purchased this system to plug into my Yamaha P45 keyboard and it dramatically improved the quality with a few tweaks of the treble and bass.

If you're buying these for a a PC you're getting more than a PC speaker, you're getting a nice little sound system you can connect to your phone via Bluetooth, plug in a RCA turntable, or old iPod classic if you've got one.

Very decent, mostly nice and mostly impressive base for its size, but struggles with it's highest volume with heavy very low frequency base beat. Boombayah - BLACKPINK (a good heavy base test song), at the loudest volumes there's noticeable distortion, though not to bad and suffers from some volume drop out. Adding a subwoofer using the subwoofer out option makes these issues disappear and is transformational for this type of music.

burnt in. But amazing difference. Much deeper and cleaner bass and treble not so sharp. More definition in mid range and an overall warmer sound. Played favourites for 5 hours. Everything sounded better. For $750 these are amazing.

Good sound, nice looking – Just brought these as wanted to move my Amp and record player/radio to another room. I needed a unit that could pack some punch and cover my TV and… Read more

computer. This does both.

I initially thought the speakers sounded tinny, but do not notice this at all and the move I use them the more I am impressed with the clarity and the sound volume.

The speakers are powered with the right hand speaker needing a power point and speaker cable then connecting to the left hand speaker. The on switch is at the rear of the right hand speaker with the controller only controlling the volume up and down and mute. On the side of the right hand speaker is the master volume control and bass and treble. I have found this useful especially for movies when the music is too loud, turning up the treble makes the voices a little clearer.

The speakers look good and are small but not overly so. They have worked well for my TV set up connecting via RCA cables and with my computer connecting via RCA to a 3.5mm jack.

I have not been able to remove the dust covers as yet. They seem to be very firmly attached, though the pictures on the website show them removed. I plan to contact Edifier to query this in the coming days.

Very happy with my purchase.
