restricts and distorts the flow at the nozzle head. It's a PIA that is unnecessary. Terrible idea. The manifold ( 4 way outlet) on the top of the pump corroded where it is coupled to a stainless steel valve. I accept that corrosion happens, but I can't believe the lack of online parts availability.(a deliberate marketing decision) This manifold would be a common failing part. I can't believe the tiny number of approved local parts vendors who even exist, let alone who carry the parts. I can't believe DAVEY would believe $200 is a reasonable cost for such a basic part.. But worst of all it seems perverse in a bushfire prone country and season, a fix is days away at best. new pump time. Goodbye DAVEY. Never again. Hopefully an OS company starts to make non genuine parts for those people stuck with the same issue, and they sell them like hotcakes online.

month warranty - which means nothing is covered. This is the email content I received when asked for a replacement water sensor 8 months in- the water sensor is a very integral part of the main board and heater unit.

'Advising Davey spare parts have a 3 month warranty period, therefore you would need to purchase a new Q915441AC from your local Davey dealer.'

said there was a manufacturer fault and the power board was not connected. They fiddled with it and got it to work. The pump was installed but the next issue is that it was constantly on. Problem we paid for latest technology that is a pump with a pressure system that should turn off once water is not needed. This was not happening. The Davey authorised service agent said they would ask for a new circuit board to fix that problem. Heard nothing for 4 weeks. Chased them and the agent came out relaced parts, 2h hours later it stopped working. No pressure. The agent said he tried to bench test the pump had issues was trying to get an answer form Davey but could not get support. Eight weeks after purchase still not working. Rang and emailed Davey directly 2, 4 and 6 weeks after the purchase I couldn’t get a response either.

Faulty product and poor after sales service – Last Davey pump lasted us 13 years, this one broke down 3 times in the 6 months since we purchased it. Manufacturer very difficult to deal with, won't be buying from them in future.
