Low call out fee. Took apart to the lock to then tell me the pricing which was very expensive. Advised me even if I didn't proceed I'd be charged labour plus call out. Felt pressured into proceeding. Terrible experience. Also didn't disclose until the work was done that prices didn't included GST.

arrive. his ETA's were overly optimistic. When he did arrive, I found out that it would cost some $700 to have the door opened. This was a complete surprise to me and I wanted to cancel the whole thing. Instead I asked if he could climb up the a first floor veranda and enter via an unlocked door, which he did, but for that little exercise it still cost me $600! I complained to the company but they were intransigent at arriving at a compromise. As such, I would NEVER use their "service" again and would NOT recommend them to anyone.

my mum was locked out and asked how much it would cost. [Name Removed] told me he couldn't give me a price because he didn't know what type of lock it was and that someone would need to attend and inspect it first. Based on that conversation, I agreed for a technician to come out. [Name Removed] attended, inspected the lock and quoted approximately $360 to open the door. We immediately declined because another locksmith had already quoted us around $160 for the same job. It was only after we declined the quote that [Name Removed] told us there was a $125 call-out fee. He insisted that the $125 fee was advertised on the website. That was not my understanding when I contacted the company. Had I been told upfront that simply having someone attend to inspect the lock would cost $125, I would never have agreed to the visit. My elderly mother felt she had no choice but to pay the $125. We were charged simply for someone to identify the lock and provide a quote that we did not accept. In my opinion, this is not transparent customer service and it is certainly not how a business should operate in Australia. Customers deserve to know exactly what they are agreeing to before a technician is dispatched. I will never use this company again. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this business.

parts. By the time they arrived, ummed and ahhed it was close to 5pm and i had little option. Even though I negotiated a discount on the emergency fee, cost over $650 to open a door. No parts, drilling etc. In my opinion I felt deceived by the website and booking process.

Was not transparent with all the added fees. $499 for emergency service???? I've been locked out before, never costed that much. Would have been better off smashing the door down and putting a new one back up. Like someone else said, he assured that all could be recovered from insurance. Really need to stay away from this mob who also go by other names. BEWARE

Today I have great experience with Locksmith. I and my husband forget our key inside the room. We called to Locksmith. DO NOT USE!! They overprice and overcharge for services- $29 call out actually means $499 weekend fee AND $499 after hours fee. In addition, $999 for quick power tool use. The worst part? You get the invoice AFTER the job which was originally quoted $900 ends up $2,887. They take advantage of a time when you are stressed and vulnerable. AVOID
