within 5 minutes stating would arrive between 12-2 PM. Technician yet to arrive at 2 PM, attempted to call and no response, then get a message that they had an emergency and would arrive in the next hour. Waited another 1.5 hrs and still no show from technician nor communication. Technician finally came after 4 PM and quoted almost 1K for x6 locks to be installed and keyed, later agreed to be priced to $650 with x3 keys for the whole house. When asked how long this would take, said it would be 3 hours to complete and can't finish the job on the same day and said will only do fly screens of the house. Charged $372 for only 3 fly screens and then left in a hurry saying they would return the following day between 12-1 PM. Next day comes and yet again no show or communication from the technician. Tried calling the office to which they said they would call the technician. Another whole hour and still no show, called office again who then tell me that they can't get in contact with the technitian, they were able to guide me through putting in a formal complaint. End of day no show from the technician, a message at 7 PM saying they hurt their hand and will discuss options on Monday. Customer service team also not helpful, closed my request because "it has been resolved" which I' assuming is because the technician sent me a message. Also noted that the technician didn't even install my fly screen properly and the outside frame seems damaged too.

an emergency despite customers never saying it’s an emergency and advertising that they offer a ‘rapid response’ of 15 minutes. There’s an overarching ‘service fee’ of $400 in addition to call out and work fees. They even charge $300 for their own insurance! In total, I paid over $1,500 for my front door to be unlocked in less than ten minutes.

late and no phone call because apparently they had written the number down incorrectly even though I repeated it, the guy who came did the job but he was as boring as batshit with no customer service skills and hard to understand and didn't explain things clearly, barely spoke two words unless I spoke to him first, didn't advise what he was doing or when he was doing it, disappeared for ages and I had no idea where he went only to discover he was in the van outside cutting keys, might have been nice if he had told me where he went, I chose this company based on all of the positive feedback but can't say I was happy with the service.

Locked out of apartment - 7.20 pm - called locksmith - prompt (20 mins) and professional, unlocked door in 5 mins. Call out rate $45, total price $490 ! I was going to night shift as a nurse for 10 hours that night and would not make that much money.

then I'd need to make an appointment to have it cut and programmed. I googled Sydney Car Locksmiths and sent a quote request at 2pm on a Friday afternoon and received the $350 quote 10 minutes later. They were very busy but promised to come to me by the end of the day. Despite it being a cold wet night, Alex kept in touch with me and arrived at 6pm in the pouring rain and cut and programmed my new key. block for my neighbour was $200), the attending locksmith said my lock has a ‘high security lock’ and a more complicated job. I felt pressured to pay the amount as I was desperate to get back in to my apartment , which he quoted halfway through the job. He was onsite for a total of 17 minutes. I asked for a receipt and none was provided via sms as promised. When I followed up with On Call Locksmiths to complain and demand a refund - no response. I have reported to my bank, Master Locksmiths Association (who confirmed I have been scammed) and the ACCC. This company should be closed down as they taking advantage of innocent people in vulnerable situations. Be warned - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
