Feedback regarding Locksmiths Now is sharply divided. Totally abusive, they don't give you a quote before doing the work, and then they charge exorbitant prices, want immediate payment, and only give you an invoice after a lot of effort—abusive and dishonest.
SCAM!!! 3 hours to cut a key that was would unlock the door if you wiggled it, 9 different key attempts . Ignored questions. Oh and said the ignition was bad. Called another locksmith from a different company , 1st attempt key cut and works for doors and ignition. Grease all over door and left mess inside vehicle.
Scam Beware. They try to overcharge and pressure you into paying with physical intimidation after quoting an unreasonable price. Will hide the price until they arrive. They will also try to enforce a call out fee the moment you call. Stay far away.

Terrible overpriced service. Asked locksmith to replace two locks and key for entry handle. Was advised the handle could be “fixed” as the key could not be cut. Three hours later, the handle would not work at all. Customers and staff locked in. No one could get in or out of store. Locksmith said he could “maybe” come back in an hour. Scam company, watch out. Had called two companies. This one didn't quote even when asked for an approx price but said they were going to come anyway and said they'd be here in 30mins. message, whilst other locksmith company was here. And they said it was a scam and to call police if they showed up. Have informed police for quicker call out. Not only that but continued to get calls saying they were coming to collect the money for a job not done by them for something that was cancelled within 5 minutes.
I had locked myself out of my apartment and needed a locksmith ASAP. Mr David came out within 5mins of my call. He was professional, reliable and went above and beyond to open 2 doors without having to drill into the lock. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. You will not be disappointed!

Beware - charge like wounded bulls. Do some googling first on prices they charge for parts. Extortionate. I made the mistake of not doing. Should have turned them away.

the full pricing until after he completed the service. The guy meet me at the door and was asking if I had used a locksmith before, I answered truthfully and said no. I now know this was just so he can gauge how much I knew and how much he could overcharge and fee stack. They take advantage of people in need. He showed me that my lock was in the top tier charge, where is said smart lock. It is a simple lock and given no tools were required to open it this clearly was a lie. EFPOS machine was convinietly not working and he wanted a bank transfer, he then stood in my house ( i am a young female on my own) charging the efpos machine. He did not offer to send a link for me to pay via card, even though the email I got sent with the recipt after had this option. I felt scared and uncomfortable and ended up paying the the bank transfer so he could just get out of my house. Invoice attached, funny they remove the naming convention for the tier they charge on the invoice. At time of paying he said random things and had number showing on his iphone calculator. He also never disclosed final price prior to starting service or provided % attached to labour fees and other things. AFTER he got the bank transfer he got me sign the invoce but only showed me the signature line. For you own safety please don't use these guys, especiallly if you are a women living on your own.

fees were not transparently communicated upfront and only appeared once the work was already done, leaving no real option to question or decline them. It felt extremely deceptive and poorly handled. The company that completed the job was Omnix Solutions PTY LTD
What makes this worse is that the job itself was not even completed to an acceptable standard. Not only was the work left unfinished, but additional damage was caused to my door during the process — something I now have to deal with separately.
Trying to resolve the issue has been even more frustrating than the service itself. There appears to be no proper customer resolution process in place. I’ve been repeatedly told that someone would call me back, yet no one ever follows through. Emails go unanswered, and there is a complete lack of accountability from the company.
The communication from management was just as disappointing — dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to take any responsibility for what happened. At no point did I feel like my concerns were being taken seriously or that there was any genuine effort to fix the situation.
Overall, this experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism across the board — from pricing transparency to workmanship, communication, and after-service support.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you value clear pricing, quality work, and basic customer service.

another locksmith on Facebook, and they opened my door in about one minute and charged only $130.
The technician then told me I had two options: pay $99 for the inspection (because I called after hours) and he would leave, or pay $469 for him to open the door. At that point it was already 10pm, and my phone battery was about to die, so I could not make more calls to check on other companies. After negotiating, they reduced the price to $350.
The technician then opened the door in about one minute — the same amount of time it took another locksmith a few month ago. There was nothing special or difficult about the key.
I feel the situation advantage of the fact that I live alone, it was late at night, and my phone battery was about to die. The price increase from the initial quote to the final charge was unreasonable and not transparent.
The locksmith service provided by the technician is beyond expectation. They have the skills to open smart locks with ease.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE !! I needed an emergency call out to unlock a door. It was late on a Saturday night so I did not expect this to be cheap. I was charged over $1300 for a simple 20 minute unlocking with no room to negotiate. Horrific price gouging with this company taking advantage of consumers. Absolute scam

provided a verbal quote to fix the door of around $500 which my mother approved, then produced a bill in excess of $1,200 when the job was finished. And next day still having trouble with the door. I have reported this company to Consumer Affairs Vic.

dishonest! They subcontract and very dodgy. They sent me a complaint form and then replied with a ‘bad luck’ attitude despite uploaded pictures of what the tradie did/did not do!!! He failed to provide an invoice and was a bully. This business is not to be trusted
Follow-up · They’re a totally useless company and a scam! Please do not use them unless you wish to lose money. They did nothing but remove the entire door handle and lock, were there for less than 10 minutes and did not explain their pricing but were misleading stating that it’ll be $99. The guy told me he would arrive within 30 min to our place and he took more than an hour at the time there was no traffic. He quoted us a price from 99 to 270 max (we had another quote for 330 fix cost and 40 min arrival) so we decided to go with his faster arrival. When he got to our place, he said it was the most complex case and he would charged us 150 for after hours plus 270 plus something else which would be almost $500 for a job than took literally less than 1 min to fix. The guy was not at front with the cost even we asked him for what would be the maximum cost to pay, the was dishonest with the time and the hidden cost.
Quick yes, but overpriced. I phoned the main number and questioned the cost it has to be discussed with the technician, so technicians can charge you as much as they want. Scam!
The locksmith now is a scamming company. In the day time working hours, they changed me for the emergency $490 to open a regular door knob. They made up prices like open door key as $250, Emergency service $99 and also another service fee for $99. All they used was a screw driver and air pressure pads. technician arrives maybe 45 minutes after we cancel and rudely insists we still pay when no service was performed and the service was canceled--we did not end up paying. Do not use this service!
