Terrible overpriced service. Asked locksmith to replace two locks and key for entry handle. Was advised the handle could be “fixed” as the key could not be cut. Three hours later, the handle would not work at all. Customers and staff locked in. No one could get in or out of store. Locksmith said he could “maybe” come back in an hour. would cost and under duress, because I need to be in Port Adelaide by 6.30 pm I felt I had no choice but too agree I asked him if there was any discount for pensioners and he said well, normally we don’t but I will take $100 off. Took 1 SECOND TO OPEN THE LOCK and that cost me $650. Apparently in South Australia, there is no capping on prices so they can charge whatever the they want. He had no efpos machine it was broken or something so I had to go to my ATM and he followed me to get the money out. I asked for a receipt he said it would be sent to me. All these things are red flags. The fact that the 700 number is probably a tracking or virtual number that goes to an interstate dispatch, he rocks up in a personal car, there was no ID shown mind you I didn’t ask for it. When I rang the company Sunday night he said he would email me the itemised receipt by getting in touch with [Name Removed] first. Well here it is Tuesday and I still haven’t received it.I phoned consumer and business services and really they weren’t any help. They said because I agree to the price, and because there’s no capping in South Australia, there’s really not much I could do, but the fact that it could be a tracking or virtual number is a red flag and itself the fact that he did not supply a receipt for me whether it was written one or digital is a breach of Australian consumer law, especially for the amount of $650. I filled out a form with the MasterLocksmith Association to see if they’re actually a registered company, but I haven’t heard back from them yet , hopefully in the next day or two otherwise I’ll phone them. So here I am another person saying don’t use Locksmith now because Omnix Solutions Ptd Limited is a parenting company and you get nowhere with them.Has anyone else had dealings with them in Adelaide? There’s no actual address for this company in Adelaide. I’ve attempted to find one.

fees were not transparently communicated upfront and only appeared once the work was already done, leaving no real option to question or decline them. It felt extremely deceptive and poorly handled. The company that completed the job was Omnix Solutions PTY LTD

What makes this worse is that the job itself was not even completed to an acceptable standard. Not only was the work left unfinished, but additional damage was caused to my door during the process — something I now have to deal with separately.

Trying to resolve the issue has been even more frustrating than the service itself. There appears to be no proper customer resolution process in place. I’ve been repeatedly told that someone would call me back, yet no one ever follows through. Emails go unanswered, and there is a complete lack of accountability from the company.

The communication from management was just as disappointing — dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to take any responsibility for what happened. At no point did I feel like my concerns were being taken seriously or that there was any genuine effort to fix the situation.

Overall, this experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism across the board — from pricing transparency to workmanship, communication, and after-service support.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you value clear pricing, quality work, and basic customer service.

another locksmith on Facebook, and they opened my door in about one minute and charged only $130.

The technician then told me I had two options: pay $99 for the inspection (because I called after hours) and he would leave, or pay $469 for him to open the door. At that point it was already 10pm, and my phone battery was about to die, so I could not make more calls to check on other companies. After negotiating, they reduced the price to $350.

The technician then opened the door in about one minute — the same amount of time it took another locksmith a few month ago. There was nothing special or difficult about the key.

I feel the situation advantage of the fact that I live alone, it was late at night, and my phone battery was about to die. The price increase from the initial quote to the final charge was unreasonable and not transparent.

The locksmith service provided by the technician is beyond expectation. They have the skills to open smart locks with ease.

Fast, professional, and super easy to deal with. Arrived quickly and fixed the issue on the spot. Highly recommend.

invoice $300 to drill lock and not fix it. Then charge a labor cost on top. Criminal, don’t let them get away with it. I am not!! Also they use different company names to make it difficult to serve legal notices.
