The best – 5 maybe 6 sets of glasses reglazed by Gene and his team now - it’s an amazing service. If you love vintage frames or weird stuff like IC Berlin like I do , or you just refuse to be part of the throw away culture - 4 Eyes Optical are a treasure . Quality work and amazing value . Need Glasses or Lenses? – After another well-known firm quoted for new lenses in existing frames I looked around and found Gene at 4 Eyes Optical. He arranged new transition lenses of high quality without fuss at HALF the big firm's price, including postage. All very smooth. As for the big firm, Other People Should Miss. Show reply
Quality affordable service – Have used 4 eyes optical for several years now, they are always happy to answer any questions and easy to deal with. Prescriptions have always been as we have given them. Prices are reasonable and they are happy to work with old frames so I don't have to spend a fortune on new frames. Show reply

SEEING THE VALUE – Quality of product and service is not necessarily tied to high costs or flashy and fashionable storefronts and attention grabbing adverts. unjustified prices opticians were trying to charge us for frames and lenses every time we went for eye testing. Our annual health fund allowance was quickly submerged in the prices quoted for either mediocre frames or the cost of average performance lenses and there was an expectation that we would pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket just to retain our vision in focus. As I researched the websites of optical retailers online I was fortunate to discover 4 EYES OPTICAL and the very economical services they offer. With our first order of reglazing a couple of glasses frames some years ago we saved hundreds of dollars and had little to pay above our health fund's refund. The lenses were of superior quality, precisely matched our prescriptions and our frames were returned in cleaner and better condition. This all happened very quickly with express return postage ensuring we were without our glasses for less time than we usually experienced with walk in opticians. Leah and Gene do not hesitate to assist with any concerns or enquiries you may have and will contact us direct should there be an issue with any aspect of the script or glasses. They take a very hand's on approach to customer service and ensure we are given the best possible treatment. They are very professional and use the highest quality products but their prices are in my experience much less than half or a third of regular opticians.
You will be doing yourself a disservice if you allow the two one star negative reviews on this site which have a disproportionate effect on the rating to influence your choice of optical dispenser. I have been at the receiving end of undeserved anger and criticism from customers who have for one reason or another forgotten details or mistakenly made statements when ordering products. Even when presented with documented evidence they persist in their stance until I patiently explained each specific point of their misunderstandings until they calmed down and were able to listen with understanding. And then reach an agreement about the issue to each parties satisfaction. However this can be very difficult to do unless you are face to face which being online is not possible.
I strongly recommend 4 EYES OPTICAL for all your glasses needs. Either with new frames or to have quality lenses fitted to your existing frames. Once you enjoy the benefits provided by Leah and Gene you will, like us never go anywhere else.
Very disappointing – I have been using this company for many years without problem but it’s always a good test when things go wrong to see how they behave. I have probably had about 10 pairs of glasses done by this company and recently sent them a pair of sunglasses to be made up as multifocals. were sunglasses! I also said the same as my last pair which were also sunglasses. They came back as reading glasses and they were so nasty and unreasonable. I have never left a negative review but I felt the need to spare anyone else from the grief that I experienced. So I’m now off overseas for 3 months with no sunglasses - and not even an apology - and $250 out of pocket! Very disappointing.
Excellent Service & Product – I have had two pairs of multi-focal prescription lenses made by 4 Eyes Optical & I am very happy with both. Said could do prism in lenses. Could not – Got the prism wrong in my lenses it was very uncomfortable for me and caused me a big problem. It took me a while to identify as I took it for granted the lense maker would do the lense correctly. Another optometrist said prism in these lenses were for a pupil location 6mm off from where it should have been. Also had problem with delivery time.… Read more
Glasses were needed in a short time for a medical reason and this online shop said they would get them in 2 weeks or less. Arrived in 1 month. My eyes desynchronize without proper script so i had a significant problem reading. I thought it was because of the time without the glasses and had to do vision therapy exercises for a while. Didn't work out the problem for 3 months. Lenses were about $220 and I was not refunded so barely any cheaper than my local optometrist ($240 or so) but got them wrong with a big problem for me resulting. (Big trouble reading). Would not recommend. Lenses are something that need to be done correctly.
