I was being indecisive in choosing between different frames but thankfully I got great insights from the staff members at the store, it was very helpful. lovely range of designs and that too, organised by shape. I’ve always been biased towards the geometric and cat-eye styles myself.

And of course, customer service and support 11/10. Anytime I’ve noticed an issue requiring repair, they’ve been able to tackle it within 30 minutes.

associate was spot on with her suggestions. With so many options it can be a little overwhelming with the choices. But once e narrowed don the particular frame material it was so easy from there. incredibly helpful that I had help to choose frames and she was knowledgeable about which frames were right for my face shape taking into consideration the type of frames I like, there are so many nice frames to choose from it can be hard. When picking up my new glasses, again I was met with a friendly face and information letting me know I can come back for adjustments. This is why I like to go to Oscar Wylee because it’s always a good experience and I leave feeling great. Also, I LOVE my new glasses, they got it exactly right once again!

Poor quality plastic frames – I bought multifocal glasses in March last year and was very happy with them. However they developed fine cracks on both nasal sides of frame, and at 15 months one of these cracks became full thickness, The plastic appeared to have deteriorated. I… Read more ·  3

went to an outlet and asked for replacement frames. This was done, but I had to pay $80 for what I believe is a materials fault and should have been a free replacement. I have had cheap chemist glasses last better than this. I lodged a complaint via email when I was asked for feedback- no reply.

Today is the 27 April, two weeks after reaching out to Oscar Wylee via their Customer Service contact form, through instagram and even their facebook page, but they have chosen to ignore all my streams of communication. The following is a copy… Read more

Visited your Oscar Wylee Chermside store this morning, as my frame just snapped by the ‘nose bridge’, at one of the two joints, expecting a replacement or possibly repair.

The personnel at the store front had a quick look at the item and deemed it as ‘normal wear and tear’, hence not covered by their warranty - which in this instance expires in June 2026.

I asked to speak to the Manager of the store, but the Manager is only available tomorrow.

The lady attending to me was reluctant to disclose her full name, although she was wearing a name badge that was sadly facing the other way on her lanyard.

She mentioned that this could happen and I must understand this is the reason “they are cheap”….

Very disappointed as this was my first foray with Oscar Wylee Eyewear. Our family of six normally go to SpecsSavers but decided to try a new supplier.

Specssavers has replaced/ repaired my glasses free of charge in the past, whereas Oscar Wylee has offered a replacement frame at a discounted price of $80.

Makes me rethink of the quality of METAL FRAMES provided by Oscar Wylee and your after-service to customers.

Why isn’t a replacement or repair offered despite it being under warranty?

I found the staff and optometrist at Oscar Wylee-Kawana all awesome, very friendly, courteous and helpful. affordable prices for quality frames, of course there were some more expensive and some cheaper ones available as well.

I was given an itemised costing of my chosen frames and lens options before proceeding with the order, so there were no surprises later.

When my glasses arrived about two weeks later, I tried them on and had them adjusted for a comfortable fit before taking them home. Unfortunately after three weeks, I returned for another eye test for replacement lenses and was even offered a different frame for my sunnies which the optometrist explained would be more functional for me. The whole lot was free of charge and I’m pleased to report I received my replacements a week later and for over two months now, I actually enjoy wearing my new glasses with such vastly improved vision. I’m very appreciative for all the care and services I received free of any hassles.
