Wonderful service and communicated with me during manufacturing process as there was understandable delay but no issues. The finished product was better than my last set from another provider. I can ski happy now with this Smith ODS3 RX adaptor lens insert which fits perfect with Smith XL mag chromapop ski goggles. I love it! thanks Julia for your service! Multifocal Total 1 lenses fitting with Leyna Nguyen. Leyna is excellent, caring & knowledgeable. She makes eye appointments and easy & fun! & I wouldn't go anywhere else! Tanny behind the counter is great too.

 Follow-up  · Leyna makes the appointments fun, she has a great sense of humour, is easy to talk to & we always have a laugh. Lenses don't even feel like they are in they are that comfortable.

the pros and cons of the different lenses available and helped me find frames that best suited my face shape. The glasses were ready in ten days which really impressed me. What was amazing was that the glasses were a great fit and immediately felt comfortable. I did not need time to get adjusted to wearing progressive lenses. I could see much better with the progressive lenses. I have been wearing my new glasses for a few days now and am very happy with them. The staff at the store are always polite and helpful. Brian has been working at this branch for many years and remembers me each time I visit annually to have my eyes tested. It is reassuring to have a regular person who remembers their customers. I have in the last couple of years brought my boss’s teenage children to this optometrist and they have both purchased glasses as well. They have a good selection of on trend frames for every budget.

 Follow-up  · I had concerns about getting multi focals. Namely, the cost of investing in something that I might not adjust to. Brian clearly explained the different options in lenses and the potential problems they may pose and helped me find the ones that would best suit me based on my use and lifestyle. durable plastic frame and sturdy lens. They were patient and understandable with me and I was very picky near closing time.

Thank you Leyna for help picking out the sturdy glasses that also fit my face frame with a nice brand I thought I wouldn’t try since I’m usually always go to one brand glasses and call it a day person. And thank you Cynthia for answering my questions about lens and explain in detail and informing and as well as recommending the right transition lens and they are strong and durable especially when it’s very hot in summer and make sure they don’t fall off or get scratches easily. I may ask dumb questions here and there when I was trying to find and match lens and glasses for the frame but the end of the day it felt very good to feel reassured in 1 visit. It felt very good to speedrun this sort of thing in 1 visit when I expect it few days to do this thing.

patience, especially as I tried on various glasses before making a decision. I discovered that I have distance vision deficiency, even after having eye surgery a few years ago, due to daily computer use. Thanks to her attention, I underwent the necessary exams, covered by Medicare, and the service was impeccable from start to finish.

In addition to her charming smile, Madeleine has a natural talent for customer service. She was extremely helpful in assisting me with selecting glasses from a brand I wasn’t very familiar with, explaining clearly that the glasses were a perfect fit for my face shape. The service was outstanding and truly stood out compared to all the years I’ve been a customer. This was my first visit to the Blacktown store, and the service provided by Madeleine was spectacular.

Fake reception almost like reading from a clue card – I returned to 1001 Optical at Eastgardens Tuesday 02 Apr 24, for testing my eyes following cataract surgery of both eyes last February. is the new branch manager. I received an appalling reception by this person, the smiles were fake and plastic, and his monologue sounded like he memorised his “Clue Card”.

The next day, when I called to say their quotation for a new pair of subscription glasses were pretty high, the person fell apart and did not have a plausible explanation.

I reminded the person that within our current economic climate and the high cost of living (where some suppliers and multinationals believe Australia is a “Treasure Basket”, and with at least six competitors within the same complex), the consumer may very well walk aways and shop around. No reaction!!!

The least I would have expected is something like “Let me escalate it to management and see what they say”.

It is sad, that sales training not just with 1001 Optical, but across the board hasn’t quite resonated with employers, who only focus on shameful profits instead of focusing on long-term retention of their loyal customer base, which I have one of them.

Staff were nice but when my husband and I went to pick up our new glasses, they seemed very rushed and not take enough time to ensure the frame was adjusted properly, they did not adjust the frame when we first chose them and said that would be done when we picked them up. to multi-focal. This was not a problem at all for them and the changeover was no hassle at all but when I went to pick them up a different lady served me and again seemed very rushed. I had to tell her twice I was not happy and they needed adjusting, but she still wasn't really listening to what I was saying and just said to see how they go and not hesitate to come back if they need adjusting. They should have done that before I left. The actual Optometrist I saw took more time and adjusted my glasses for me.

I did an order over Black Friday Sales. They processed the order and then cancelled my order. Saying an error on their website undercharged me, I need to pay an extra $200 I went back and did the same order again and still was the same price. They had not fixed the problem but seem to have leave it. Pretty much lure you in with a cheap price, then asking for more money. Such a scam for extra money!! DO NOT RECOMMEND

thereafter informing me the item was listed below cost price and the order was cancelled and I was refunded. Moral of the story is, be aware that if you purchase an item and the price is too good to be true there is a chance the transaction will not be honoured. I looked over some previous reviews and this is not an isolated incident of a pricing error. Also for a company of this size surely communication could have been better. It wasn’t until I reached out almost 2 weeks after that I had any dialogue about the order.

The store staff accidentally bent my new Lindberg frames, which I also purchased from 1001. Other optical stores couldn’t fit new lenses for them, so I had to return to your store. However, the frames still weren’t repaired. The staff took photos and said they would contact Lindberg for further instructions, but after two weeks, there’s still been no update. Every time I visit, a different staff member assists me.

All the staff at Bondi Junction 1001 treat my wife and I with the utmost courtesy and respect. My vision difficulties are being treated in an outstanding manner. My gratitude and thanks to Chiara and Jocelyn and optometric advice from Margaret and Georgia. Although I visit many stores on a more frequent basis, 1001 Bondi Junction is my favourite place at Bondi Junction Westfield.

Very good customer service. Both the optometrist and the staff who help me choose a pair of glasses that suit me were very helpful. They explained all the details to me. The only thing I think this store can improve on is they need bigger store. The room I was in for eye test was very cramped.

Alvin Lee, the optometrist conducted thorough testing and patient explanation regarding the state of my eyes.
