for a DIY customer. Because the roller itself had been made short, the bracket could not be drilled into the brick as its too short to reach either side.

There was no warning or guidance during ordering that recess fit blinds would require drilling into a steel lintel, nor that this would be significantly more complex than a standard DIY install. This information should be clearly disclosed upfront.

Between the incorrect sizing and the impractical installation for a DIY product, the blinds are unusable for us. Very disappointing experience.

Further to this our sheers we ordered previously, the joiner bracket in the middle comes loose when opening them up. The joiner gets caught on the sheers which has made them collapse several times. I now don’t bother opening them because I’m afraid they will collapse.

I ordered sheers blinds in five seperate batches due to the size of the house and the number of windows in my house. I found that they didn’t arrive within 3 weeks on all occasions and generally took around five weeks. in the factory, which makes me wonder how they can’t advertise it only take two to three weeks to receive the curtains. Also, I found the hardware was not consistent and differed from one order to the next. This meant that some of the curtains sit lower and there’s a noticeable difference in the way the curtains look. I liked the fabric and can’t fault the quality of the fabric.

Did not meet “2-3 week delivery guarantee”, blinds are wrong size, 2 brackets were labelled incorrectly (realised when first was hung so they definitely were NOT 5 minute blinds), 1 bracket was wrong and 1 bracket was missing. Contacted to get the brackets sorted and was told they would be express posted that day when in fact they were sent five… Read more

days later. We then opened our curtains to hang and we do not have enough brackets as per their installations instructions - we’re missing one bracket if we’re just installing 700mm apart but missing two if we need the brackets close to the join as per their instructions. Now they are non communicative, refusing to respond in writing because we can no longer trust their word (after two phone calls where they said one thing and did another). Would not recommend and would rather just send back and get a refund because the worst thing is, we still have a couple of rooms we would need to order for. So either we’d have to order from here again to match, knowing how terrible their quality assurance and customer service is, or the rest of our rooms won’t match. Really disappointed with the lack of service. Mistakes happen, yes. However how you respond to issues is where it matters and 5 minute blinds have proven that they do not care about their customers or getting orders right.

An experience worth sharing – I've been on the hunt for the perfect blinds for my home office. After much browsing, I settled on the Seclusion roman blinds.
