Extremely Disappointed with DIY Blinds Service
I am utterly disappointed with the service provided by DIY Blinds. Our experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. After waiting an excruciatingly long time for measurements to be taken, the curtains finally arrived, only to discover that essential hooks were missing. This oversight has made it impossible for us to hang the curtains, leading to discomfort and sleepless nights in our own bedroom. If I could give more stars I would!Ellie F was fantastic. We had such great support with her. The website was easy to use but as always, there are some questions. Ellie responded quickly and it enabled us to measure correctly. Ellie always returned emails and phone calls promptly and shutters and blinds were made and fitted to perfection.
The advice I give, is get it right your end because DIY gets it right their end.
There was minor damage from the transportation, which Ellie responded to immediately and mailed the replacement parts. We received them in a couple of days.
Great, great service during and after, I couldn’t be happier.
I can’t recommend Ellie and DIY blinds enough. Use them, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic!
The team was absolutely brilliant. A couple of hiccups with production that was sorted out so professionally. This is a business built on kindness and integrity and the results are fantastic. They went above and beyond. Would definitely use use them again and would highly recommend anyone considering enlisting their help. I absolutely love my curtains and blinds. moving in to a brand new home with no blinds can always be an issue and somewhat a urgent matter to be fixed. I was referred DIY blinds from a work colleague and overall my experience dealing with ELLIE was absolutely world class! she was able to turnaround a consultation time and quote in such a speedy manner.her ability to inform and educate me on the process was very professional.

Great post sales support
We bought quite a few wireless motorized roller blinds around 1-2 years ago from DIY Blinds. I was a bit concerned about what happens if the batteries have issues.Two of the blinds started to show some problems, so I called DIY Blinds- Sarah was extremely helpful, and I was amazed to have two replacement motors the very next day at our house! Pretty impressive as many companies don’t warrant the batteries beyond a fairly short timeframe.

I was going to use DIY Blinds for my new build, for all windows. The initial consultant was helpful and prompt, and my samples were recieved quickly. However, DIY Blinds continuously changed the goal posts. I was quoted during a sale, but the sale price was not applied. I was reassured there would be another sale, but there was actually a price rise. I followed the instructions for measures on their website, only to be verbally told to measure another way. I was told I could put a 50% deposit to hold the price, only to be told it would only hol... Read mored the price for 3 days. In the end I requested a refund. I am still waiting but at least they didn't argue at this request. To give you context, this isn't our typical quote period but we had a price increase scheduled for March 1 and therefore all quotes were only valid until the end of February. Yoshi did an amazing job fitting, measuring and then today installing the blinds, and was so positive (even after having to carry blinds and ladders up and down stairs). Having used Into Blinds, in the past, I decided to order Outdoor Awnings, As usual, great service from the young lady I spoke to on the phone - to Robert who did initial Measure & Quote - he was professional and patient, making sure I was happy with every detail. Every part of the process of purchasing and installing these blinds has been great. The online ordering process was easy, communications on delivery were clear, the blinds arrived quickly, and they were simple to install even for this novice. The exceptional customer service came in when one of the blinds had a little fraying on one edge. Sarah at DIY responded really quickly to my email and arranged for a replacement blind right away. Admittedly I was a bit hesitant about the quality I would receive from DIY Blinds and when my S curtain order showed up with marks all over it I thought the worst... I got what I paid for... but much to my sheer amazement and delight Zhen, my contact for customer service, took care of the problem and 6 weeks later I have a beautiful set of curtains with zero marks and stains. We offer a range of shutter options and measure/installation guides that you can "Do It Yourself" or have a handy person do that for your (for normal hinged shutters) however we recommend have a professional shutter installer fit Sliding shutters because they're a little more complex.
