I bought haier washing machain when l bought I had problem not spin well. Send an electrician didn't help say I need to put just one towel for wash I can't put 2 towel I told it is 7 kg how I can't wash two towels he said this is machain can't load two towel.very bad brand.Again now not working I called told me I need to pay$179 for electrician to come and have look. Don't buy this brand it is wast of money

warranty. The motherboard was replaced but it was obviously just as faulty. Just out of warranty the hot tap didn’t turn off on a low level wash, the machine overflowed covering half my floors, causing damage to carpets but hopefully not the gyprock walls. I’ll have to wait to see if the ceramic tiles around the bottom of the worst affected area of gyprock protected them. Plus the loss of precious tank water. It went to the dump and I had to buy a new one (of another brand of course).

So far it's good – Bought last week due to the old Haier model broken down. This new one seems to run quiet and not shaking. Still new so it's early to tell. but so far it's pretty good for $500 Show details

dissolved powder in with some water and next time i do a wash I simply pour the pre mixed powder and softener product into the wash it works a treat ..try it apart from that very little tangles and just a great low cost basic washing machine from the Fisher Paykel company @ $484 from the Good Guys you wont go wrong .

Flimsy power button – After picking up one of these, the 7kg model up from a free to good home ad, it had the same power on issue, as mentioned by a few here. and when you press it, the plastic piece under the button misses the power button on the circuit board, thus not powering on. It can be easily fixed with hot glue but who knows how long it'll last. It now works.

washing machines going! You’ll have to wash heavily soiled clothes twice and they’ll always come out smelling the same since you can’t actually add fabric softener as the rinse cycle has about 10 water changes so nothing ever smells nice

I particularly love it for shoes and toys, they fit a lot easier (as I don’t have to squeeze them in around the agitator) and I just wash them in a pillow slip in case they fall apart, but nothing has as yet. The value for money is exceptional, especially when compared with other equivalent sized machines in various brands. Has Dry Drum feature to prevent mildew growing in the tub. Not tried it yet as no need atm.

Washes clothes and linen well, but then I use a qualify wash powder, quality bleach quality detergent booster in the Warm cycle. I don't do heavy duty washing; this is not an industrial washing machine pet se.

No middle agitator to tangle the washing. Just have to distribute the washing evenly to avoid imbalance, as that automatically stops machine to prevent damage.

Hose fittings seem to be all fine atm with no leaks.

Hope to get many years of use from this appliance.

Water level on high only 1/2 fills – Complete waste of money! This machine should be taken off the market. This machine only takes very small loads and water level is ridiculously low so you end up doing more loads of washing. And you can forget trying to wash your doona cover! Wish I'd never chosen it. Good and quiet washing machine – Looks ok and was at a decent price. Quiet when washing and appears quite balanced. Used for everyday laundry needs including bedsheets. Noted the cycle times options are limited with minimum total cycle time to be over 35 minutes. i.e. does not have the quick 15 minute option. Still not bad.  Show details

Waste of money – This machine only takes very small loads and water level is ridiculously low so you end up doing more loads of washing. Wish I'd never chosen it. It seems to wash and spin ok but you can only put a few clothes in a load so I guess that's why. Very unhappy  Show details

Terrible – Every load I do ends up uneven, it would be the worsed machine I have ever had. Was disappointed the 1st day I used it. Hope less doing towels or 2 double sheets on there own, gets unbalanced. Wouldn't recommend this machine at all. Have always had a top loader & usually wear them out after 7 years. Worst machine I've ever owned – Water level is low even on highest setting. Unbalances easily especially with towels and have to do 1 or 2 extra spin cycles as they are still very wet, including with clothes. and old machine not fitting. Washing tangles very easily. It doesn't have any good points. We are a family of 7 and I will be buying another machine soon as it takes ages to do our washing due to only being able to half fill it with the low water levels.

Not nice – Exactly my opinion- water residue in tub and doesn't dry clothes. At first i thought my dryer was bad. But i realised that the washer did not spin the clothes dry. Nice Washing machine at a decent price – We have been using this machine regularly for almost an year now without any issues. It does clean clothes as per expectations. There are various modes to choose from and water consumption is not ridiculous. The filter cleaning is easy and its a low maintenance machine. Spin cycle is awful – Had to readjust the load at least twice in every wash, and only doing 2 sheets which should have not been a problem. Very noisy. 11 months old, blew the pump and power board. Warranty will fix it and then I will get rid of it. Nowhere to put fabric softeners in. Leaves soap powder streaks over the wash. I do not use very much soap powder. he told me to only do HALF A LOAD AT A TIME!!! I asked him if he was joking! Why the hell should I have to do that! I hate this washing machine, it was the biggest waste of $500 I’ve ever spent! My 1 year olds clothes NEVER come out clean! I’m so angry and upset at this awful product!!! Loud, doesn’t clean properly and no fabric softener dispenser, it’s just ridiculous!

Hopeless – I mean, it cleans my clothes ok and it’s not too loud. But it seems to just crash if I try a hot cycle, it crashes during spin drying, it crashes randomly. I return to the thing beeping with the screen saying “EE” which I presume is error. It can’t handle a large load even if it fits in the drum, so lots of towels is a no. good if you know your clothes aren't too dirty and you're in a bit of a rush. The only probable downside is that it doesn't have a separate section for liquid detergent/softener, it only has one section for powder detergent.

Good Washing machine with good price – I have used this washing machine for 8 months. The frequency is once per week, It works well with main functions. The clothes are cleaned and rinsed well. Quick Wash is handy – I have this w/mach at our unit (weekender) I love that I can get ALL the guest (1 or 2 night guest ) sheets , towels done in a 15 min quick wash & it washes them well. Takes a whole set of KS sheets too. Mine was noisy till I worked out it was the water hose banging the unit , so moving that solved it. Seems ok so far – We got the machine cheap as it was a clearance item. We are a family of 5 and it does a load a day (sometimes 2) and it seems to wash ok, haven't had any problems. Occasionally it will stop due to being unbalanced, but most washing machines do that! The normal wash cycle is quite long - 47 minutes. It does have a 'quick wash' cycle that only takes 10 minutes, but I only use that for very delicate items.  Show details
