requested a balance of the deposit they have advised us that they have expended more than our deposit amount. They have yet to provide us with a satisfactory/official breakdown of these costs. Their drawings of the house on the land were incorrect and at the time of our cancellation they were yet to correctly classify our slab type. Even after, upon their request, we promptly sent them the compaction report.

Overall we have become extremely frustrated and disapointed regarding our experience with this builder. Unique designs No communication, not flexible.

Bad – Slow progress and sometimes difficult to get in touch with anyone. Have also had some issues with our Supervisor being quite rude. Still love the house though and cant wait till its all finished. Currently building the RIO25. Love the Floorplan. Lack of communication. working for the company. I have just received a call wanting to know why we have not paid an invoice that we never received. When I called opur contact person, "Oh Sorry, She doesnt work here any more" Same thing we got 2 months ago.

unhappy – We choose to build with Aaron J Homes because of their house design and being a smaller builder, we thought by paying a bit extra we would get a better home (we were wrong). superaviser told us that we bought a commodore not a bmw, that was their words, they tried to fix the faults, can not wait to renavet my new Aaron J Home The plumer has been back 4 times since moving in the toilet still doesn't work and there is no water coming out off the tap in the onsuite. The plaster has been back to fix the unsandered plaster joints 3 times, still a very poor job( they advised me to hang a picture on the wall to hide the poor job), the kicthen bench top has been replaced 2 times due to faulty installation still not right

Happy now – We chose Aaron J because we loved the home and because no matter what i asked the lady at the display she new the answer or got back to me within minutes, We like 3 homes but the other two builders could not tell us how much or upgrads would be till after we choose them which was a real turn off! appointment so that was easy and most thing they said i could change if told them before lock up which was a real piece of mind! We got started really fast and [name removed] was just fantastic my husband would call passed most afternoons on his way home and he would be there checking the days work had been done and would let damian walk through once lock up was done and if he wasnt happy with anything paul would get it fixed. One lady in the office was a cow but left just before our house was finished she called me after Christmas and asked me very rudley when i was plaining on paying me lock up invoice , I had paid but she got my house mixed up with the othere Aj home being built in our street and hadnt sent there invoice to them ( this happend a few times) . All went really well besides that until we moved in and had a diffrent person looks after pre sale issues. He was rude at times and really didnt seem to care he said more them once that he shouldnt be fixing things that they clearly shoould have been fixed such as or garage door opening into our garage instead of the laundry, they came to fix it three time the first two times they put it the same way !!We had pumbing problems and leeking doors but they got fixed without much issue. All in all i was happy i think every builder has its bad apples but we love our home and we paid what we thought we would. great, [name removed] at the display home was fantastic, she was nice and polite, and never rude to me, no matter how many questions i asked, and believe me that was a lot! :P.

[name removed] in the office is the same, she was polite, nice, friendly, and always replied to my emails within hours of sending an email to her. She was able to answer my questions and help me out when needed.

My supervisor [name removed], he is great! He contacts me at least once a week to let me know where they are at with the building of my home. His team has done a great job so far on the home... with only about 6 weeks left till completion, i am fairly confident that the remainder of the house will be just as great!

Thank you Aaron J Homes for making my first home a stress free experience! You have a wonderful team! Price was good, Love how unique the design is, Customer service is awesome! The only thing i can fault with the design of the Rio is that is has all doors leading to the backyard on one side, & you only have an hour to choose the colours for the house.

Good – The sales consultant, [name removed], help us so much, we made changes to the plans, she helped us make sure the room sizes were right, she advised us when they were either to small or too large. office staff, if any question was asked that we were unsure of, like the developers landscaping, we went and saw [name removed] & life was made easy again. Yes, someone from the office called, but [name removed] was always there to answer any questions. Then we went to construction. We are building the Flamingo 29, [name removed] is our supervisor, as [name removed] said really nice person. Yes, nothing goes as smooth as we want it, but a few little minor issues and they were fixed straight away no questions asked. We can't ask for any more. We will move in about 2 weeks, product & price were fantastic. I recommend them to anyone. The Sales consultant deals with you thru the whole process. you pay a deposit & sign the contract with them. The office is closed for lunch bewteen 12.30 and 1.30. but this is my lunch time to, so if I need to do personal stuff it has to be on my lunch time too.
